- For High Peaks #19 and #20, I decided to hike Macomb and South Dix. Both of these mountains are located in the Dix Range of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York.
I chose to hike up Macomb via the slide trail, which was an awesome experience. Instead of hiking down the slide, I chose to take the Lillian Brook trail down in the col between Macomb and South Dix. The hike came in at 10.8 miles with around 2,800 ft. of elevation gain.
