6:23 - This makes me want to see a combo of The People's Court and Let's Make a Deal, where the defendant and plaintiff show up wearing goofy costumes.
That Time Magazine commercial makes me really want that camera and I don't really need one.😂 I also have this image in my head of a little kid begging their parents to get a Time Magazine subscription so they can have that camera. 😆
10:28 Lou Ferrigno reading The Little Engine That Could seemed to play every other break back then, especially around the time the new school year started.
I forgot how powerful the lure of free, crappy swag used to be back in the day 🤣 "But wait! We're also giving you this janky camera that will probably break on the second day of your vacation in Hawaii"
That Morning News Report segment was actually interesting to see. It was really a behind the scenes look of The John Riggins Show, & it was nice to see a former football player have his own TV show. Also, it was great seeing the weather & traffic report at the time of the news broadcast.
Point To Point-Cokie's office must be in the basement Chesapeake Bay Seafood House-looks like that date didn't work out People magazine -still have that issue..R.I.P Rock Hudson
It didn't come with a flash and the only adjustment is exposure apparently, so I'm guessing they were barely better than toys and couldn't have cost very much. I'm sure the money they made off advertising in even one issue of the magazine was more than enough to cover it.
Back in the day, when a magazine subscription included a kitchen sink, which also included a handsome carrying case.
I live in the DC area currently. It’s cool seeing the old clips from WJLA.

The '84 - '93 run of _Divorce Court_ is probably the closest we'll ever get to your suggestion.
They really should have had a special Halloween episode of The People's Court where Wapner was dressed as Satan.
The Peoole's Court started out as a show created by Montyz!

Not Lou Ferrigno in that ad
@@80sCommercialVault That actor in the literacy commercial looks like a young Merlin Olsen

Loving the sleazy guitar in the channel 7 promo for headline chasers

Thanks again for the *memories* with this one.
Good lord John Riggins rapping in a Hawaiian shirt. This video needed a warning!
That commercial spot on illiteracy was pretty sad...
Awesome thanks for the entertainment 😊
Thanks for including the morning news
I remember Our Family Honor, i used to watch it. If my memory serves me right it didnt stay on that long.
Jonny Cat- The design of the cartoon cat on the packaging reminds me of the clip art designs of cats I would see on Google Images or Microsoft Word.
I wonder how many trucks that football player sold with that performance! 🤣
wow just stumbled upon this video thank you for uploading :-)
3:11 - If they didn't send Sherlock Holmes after this suspect, as the logo implies, I would be very disappointed.

The Channel 7 late movie logo looks similar to the old American Movie Classics logo
Wes Sarginson would eventually return to Atlanta to WXIA
He looks so young in this
How did Time not lose any money giving away free cameras?
