Bird Bursts

Three bursts from the GoPro Hero5 Black, each 30 frames per second at full still photo resolution, reduced in size for a video playing at 2 frames per second. You can appreciate how fast these little finches move. The close focus was achieved by placing a large magnifying element in front of the Hero5B lens, flat on the camera side and big enough to maintain the wide field of view. The birds at the feeder are about 6 inches away.
