    Thank you for the video. Unfortunately, I have a T14SG Futaba transmitter and a R7008SB receiver with a PowerBox Pionner and a iGyro SAT. Can you please make a video for a configuration of the iGyro SAT with the USB adapter and the PC program of PowerBox? Or some tips how to make actived and desactived the gyro when I wanted?

    Great video, thanks. Oddly when I put the iGyro in my Pilot RC Decathlon and moved the tail up and down and held up, the gyro was operating in te wrong direction. I had to do this procedure in reverse to get it to work the right way. This doesn't make me feel full of confidence and I couldn't see how to manually reverse the direction like you used to be able to do in the SRS. Any ideas or suggestions most welcome!

    Do you also use gyro's in your big 3D planes like the laser? If not, when is it useful to install a gyro in an aerobatic plane?

      I have done in some of them yes. Normally best help is when flying in windy or bad conditions, also if the model has strange mixes or has habit of fish-tailing.

    Hi! If you want to access receiver menu to tune gyro, there is easier way than doing random widget. Just go to home screen, select "receiver" and click receiver picture --> you have access to the receiver's settings menu. Location of the receiver picture is the same menu, where you can bind your receivers.

    Hello Martin, great video. I am planning to get one of these devices for my airplane. I fly jeti DS24. is there more info on how to do all this in jeti? I have done Jeti assist gyros but its a pain. Any info you can share will be greatly appreciated. I looked at the powerbox pioneer manual but its very basic.

    Hi Martin
    Sorry for asking but I am a bit lost on the gain setting on the I gyro sat I use an ix20 spektrum
    Am I right that the 70% will always stay in the gyro but on the transmitter I put on the travel 25% any help would be good
    Thanks
    Nathan

      Personally I never used Jeti however process should be identical to Core, just visually adapted to a Jeti screen

    Hola Martin.
    Agradezco tu ayuda.

      Buenas, temo que no, para un receptor que no sea Powerbox, tendrias que usar el iGyro 3xtra. Saludos!

    Hi Martin. Thanks for a great video tutorial!
    How would you fine tune each axis one by one, when all three axes gain values is controlled only by one channel? Let's say I start increasing the gain value with the knob, the plane starts oscillate on roll axis, then I decrease the value a little to get the optimal gain. How shall then continue with rest of the axes (elevator and rudder) , because I can't really use the knob, that value is now locked to the roll axis?Using the fine tuning telemetry menu on the touch screen during flight to increase the gain value is not really a good option.

      @MartinPickering-PickeringRC  4 года назад +2

      Normally a plane is quite levelled out, so all axis run similar rates. If however you are concerned about this and wish to set each of the axis to its perfect setting individually, you can do this in 3 flights... Set in the telemetry menu the Aileron gain maximum to 100% and all others to 0%; now fly and find the best spot with the knob. Land, change so Elevator is max 100% and all others 0 and do again. Then same for rudder, and now just put the settings back in...

    Hi, great video Martin. But you say the opposite from the manual. Bank B is from 0 to -100 is what the manual says, you say bank A here.

    • @MartinPickering-PickeringRC

      The way martin describes it is correct. Left B and right A is illogical and should be changed.

    Hello Martin, I did the same instructions that you made in your video and I did go over the manual that came with the gyro but I have a little problem.
    The gyro is working fine with the elevators and rudders on my F-18 but it’s not working with my ailerons!!!
    I did reprogrammed everything again and I still have the same issue!! Then I thought that maybe the gyro only has pitch and yaw axises correction! No bank axises!!
    Could my gyro has something wrong with it?

    • @MartinPickering-PickeringRC
      @MartinPickering-PickeringRC  2 года назад +1

      Hi, as awkward as this may sound, usually it comes down to us setting it up wrong, sorry… Try afresh another day, and almost certainly will work. Double check that the input and output channels are correct on the radio also…

    Very helpful video as always!! However, please correct me if I'm wrong(the airplane surprised me after trying both modes today/mentioned at 10:38) bank "A" is 0 to +100 and B is 0 to -100. Again, thanks for the videos!

      I works with the Powerbox Core and its receivers, however also works with things like the Pioneer powerbox which also works with any Jeti radio and also with Futaba
