We had Bob as a server at 1900 Park Fare almost a decade ago and still talk about what an amazing experience he provided us with. It was my daughter's 7th birthday and he made it so memorable and special for her. So glad to hear he's still there, as he is next level! The cast members are the real magic

I can’t say that this mishmash of characters makes any sense but the meet and greets you guys had at dinner were elite, I mean Mirabel and Aladdin’s mannerisms and voices etc were spot on…very talented cast at least.
I’ve been to 1900 twice, years ago . Once was for dinner with the wicked step sisters and Prince Charming. The other was with the mad hatter and Alice and Mary poppins. The food was great each time and my daughter loved the characters .The mad hatter actually sat down at our table and joked around and then posed for a photo with my daughter.This was a great review.I might try this dining experience again this July.

I have always enjoyed 1900 in the past. A server once suggested a waffle with vanilla soft serve, and then ladle the strawberry soup over the top. She was right!

I know why Alladin made you feel awkward at breakfast: He was so young, handsome, and so not jaded. He spoke of hope and wishing with such a pure heart, it seems implausible to world weary queens like we are. He did a great job, and admit that i would like to be that optimistic and unguarded as he is...but only in the comments section of a video where no one knows me.

Excellent review! Can't wait to get there next year. Strawberry soup has been a favorite of mine since I first tried it in 1994. I loved your interactions with the characters! The wish idea is so nice as we all wish for something big or small. You are the best ! Love your reviews!

Fun video to do both breakfast and dinner. I thought the mish mash of characters was going to be weird, but it’s actually a cool idea to see different characters especially when you have kids and they get a good variety.
Now bring back the Trails End buffet and I’ll be a happy camper

He was extremely engaging and a natural fit - it was so nice to meet him!
Personally.. I think they should have kept the old character rotation. It was truly magical and our favourite character meal. Will still try it.. but sad to lose Mad Hatter, the mice from cinderella (who made rare visits) Lady Tremaine, Drizella and Anastasia. Food is always a 10/10 for a disney buffet!!!!!
With all the Wish theming, they totally should have Asha!!

Big fan of SSR. the only complaint would be the food options. I get that DS is just a walk away, but the quick service is lacking. The cluster that is the gift shop/QS/grocery store gets crowded and confusing at times.
The community hall has lots of fun activities for the kids (and kids at heart)
My favorite Japanese calendars are chogoink franky sonic the hedgehog and Pikachu
BTW…gravy is my beverage of choice, so, I’ll fit right in.

Even if the ratings are mixed to positive, I still look forward to trying this location out, let alone the Strawberry Soup! Ya I do wish the characters didn't change, but on the positive side, it's a more unique character meal like Trattoria al Forno was (and hopefully characters return soon this year)! And coincidence that I'm the 5,400th viewer when that's how much breakfast is? I think not.
Can’t wait to watch all of this. Loved this place before, I did think the new characters were odd before but now seeing this, I understand the wish concept and I like it! Just think would of preferred at a different location
I can see it being preferred somewhere else but the new theme is Disney magic in a way and magic is key to the company so it really does belong in the flagship resort.

Hi Craig and Ryno! Watching you at 1900 Park Fare. I would think the noise level would be a big turnoff or is it just the way it sounds on Utube? I could barely hear the what the characters were saying.
The name of the restaurant doesn't match the theme
Disney needs to change the name or the theme so it matches.
Did the name match the previous theme? From what I could find in searching, the name was a tribute to a restaurant in a hotel in St Augustine called Park Fare and the 1900 ties into the era the Grand is evoking so really the name has never made sense with the interior?
Yes it sort of did. At one point Burt and Mary Poppins were there as well Cinderella and Prince Charming. Or Lady Termaine and the sisters. 1900 Park evokes the style of the Grand. Tiana in her Bayou adventure outfit and Mirabel doesnt match the Grand. Feels very forced
Agree to disagree. I think the old interior fit better with the Grand. No arguments there. But the name didn’t make sense for the old theme either and just worked better than the original name which was Flagler’s. The name 1900 Park Fare never IMO evoked a theme like Yachtsman or Skipper Canteen where you can guess the theme from the name.
You are supposed to put the rice with the gumbo.
I felt like your character interactions were better at dinner than at breakfast. They felt less forced, more real. Of course you never know which friends of the characters will be dining with you so the best bet seems to be to pick the menu/mealtime you prefer.
The pictures are lovely, but the restaurant kind of reminds me of a bad airport food court.

We went for dinner earlier this month. We were not impressed. The food and selection was lacking but also just not great. And our characters were just ok. We were disappointed and should have went to crystal palace instead.

The colors that they chose are kind of yuck - the orange booths with the pea green food area? It reminds me of the 1970s.

This actress playing Tiana is gorgeous, but I HATE the “safari” outfit in this environment. It’s ridiculous. Does not fit the theme of this experience at all… her princess dress is perfect, would be ideal here, and there is no need to be forcing this safari look down our throats outside of the ride. Little kids want to see the characters as they know them in the movies… Disney, I love you, but please stop trying so hard to push these new character versions on everyone. If it’s not broken, stop trying to “fix” it. We love Tiana as she always has been… if you want to put her in pants for the ride bc it makes sense for that story, fine. But we don’t need to ruin her look for the rest of the character experiences in all of magic kingdom…
Kids have no connection with this outfit. It’s not going to make any sense to anyone… her dress is the BEST princess dress in my opinion, so please stop eliminating it and making her “plane Jane”. It looks like she’s a Jungle Cruise cast member… and this actor is too beautiful for that. … ugh!!!

As an adult with no kids I don’t want to hear about characters
I would hate to be Craig’s server. They’re not there to burp you after your meal and swaddle you, my guy, they’re there to bring your food to the table and pick up the plates after. You are WAY too to critical of servers over unbelievably minimal things you deem as unacceptable. I think you should get a job serving for a week to give you a better perspective of the reality of the interaction between server and customer, and if you’ve worked as one before, you need to do it again for a week as a reminder.
I was a server for two years at a restaurant in a poor town catering to patrons who didn't spend a lot, didn't like to tip, and expected the world. I've lived it. I am usually the kindest when it comes to critiquing servers during our reviews and I try to be polite and thankful to them nonstop no matter what energy they bring to the table. That being said, at a buffet, when the server's primary job is bringing/refilling drinks and bringing the check, I think its perfectly acceptable to be critical over a server not fulfilling 1/2 of their responsibility especially when you have another server at the same restaurant who goes above and beyond treating their workspace like fine dining when it is a buffet.
i dont understand your ratings… its good and you recommend, but yet its a 3.5 lol you guys definitely are scrounging for every little thing. And maybe don’t scream actors in the lobby of a disney hotel?
I think we said it straight forward. On paper our average rating is low but it didn’t match the overall enjoyment. Also, we were quietly off in a corner not even slightly screaming and able to see the entire room and mindful of who was around us.
