- Glenn recently saw something he has never seen before: A company has completely denounced its own DEI programs. The company, Tractor Supply Co., made an announcement that it will abandon its DEI spending and corporate practices and instead, go neutral. But the decision only came after filmmaker Robby Starbuck exposed the company and “decimated” their public image. So, Glenn asks, will they remain true to their promises?

Need to fire the ceo for even trying such a stupid thing.
The BOD hired him and shareholders voted in the BOD- must take TSC down first before it can be cleaned out. Shop elsewhere.
The shareholders should sue for breach of fiduciary responsibility.

A lot of local stores and restaurants in my area "pre-complied" when the muzzles were only advisory.
I am pleased to say only a couple out of 20 or so are still left 4 years layer.

Tractor supply does not sell actual tractors. They only sell tractor mowers. Most of what they sell is farm supplies.

TS is way overpriced. TS is for the city farmer. Rural farmers use TS as a last resort. TS does NOT sell tractors. They sell lawn mowers.

They surrounded my local feed and supply store and put them out of business. They’re the only place left around now.

After hearing about their DEI promotion, I personally went in and deleted my account.
We did too. My husband called the corporate office and closed our account, they said, SORRY,... that is it!

@@fixyourmind I disagree, by standing ones ground and sticking to it….we send a message to all the companies who arent supporting disgusting events involving our children and the other garbage.….that if they choose that path we will not shop there and we wont be back. I dont care how many press releases TS puts out. These are our children! We should stand for our values. They chose and supported what they did and have defended it all this time, right up to their bottom line tanking…how long has this gone on and they stuck to their policies…and still would be if sooooo many people had not stuck to their values and said not another penny. Let this be a lesson to all companies that people have values and we will stick to them. Its not about forgiveness, you can forgive them, but still stick to your guns and let them be the example to other companies what will happen.
They started funding drag shows last year exposed by Doug and Stacy of grid channel. Stopped shopping there last year. They only reversed due to being exposed and it went viral this time around. They wouldn't have stopped otherwise. Don't be a fool.

When TS came in near Waco two years ago they sponsored a trans event for CHILDREN. I personally went to the manager and closed our account and not one penny shall i spend there. Their prices are high. My local feed store got all my business after. Even if they had to special order stuff for me. Its worth the wait. Might be on the shelf at TS. But not another cent to TS.
They won’t change, they will just hide it better. You don’t pander to one side in a business, you just stay neutral.
Tractor supply will have to fire their CEO and the director of the dei program and make it public before they will get my business back.

Companies completely about face their target demographic and when it backfires, they come right back with a mea culpa, hat in one hand and the other out looking for our business again. We don’t loot. Every member of upper management for Tractor Supply should have mandatory training consisting of working the cash register in a store just to see who their customers are. They obviously don’t have a clue.

We have a tractor supply in my city. Good to know because I did not know they were DEI fans. We kind of guessed they might be, but now we know. Glenn thank you very much.

@@fixyourmind you don't get it. A little dip in their stock value is nothing, a company needs to hurt financially to change. We are not talking about the workers, but the board of directors and the stockholders. When the stockholders lose money they will push back on the board of directors and then real change will happen. Look at Disney, look at Budweiser, look at Target. They lost millions and still push their dei bs. Yes Target backed off, but they still push dei, they just did enough to bring back some customers...they haven't stopped. Neither will tractor supply, they will do only enough to bring in customers and still play the government dei crap but behind the scenes.

Been 3 years for me. Never have what I need, rural king is 40 miles away but they get my money now.
I live in south Central Florida. A Tractor Supply is about 15 minutes from me. RURAL KING is about 35 minutes. I drive further to shop at RURAL KING. Better supply and prices.

Here in Washington state, we have many many tractor supply stores… and I’m here to say right now we quit bud light, we quit target, and we now quit tractor supply… fire, the CEO and we might consider coming back…

We have a small horse farm and used to spend thousands of dollars at TSC every year. Because of their political views and actions, we stopped shopping there about two years ago. TSC - Just sell farm stuff and stay away from the nonsense that has nothing to do with selling farm stuff. Maybe we'll come back.

I love Glenn's perspective on a lot of things but these media people that think "Tractor Supply" actually sells tractors is a joke. They are simply a "farm supply store" that's it a lot like Rural King. You may be able to find limited tractor parts for repair but good luck finding anything other then consumer grade lawn tractors.
This is a wonderful opportunity for any non-woke competitor of Tractor Supply, to set up shop directly across the street from every Tractor Supply in the Nation.
Really Glen it doesn’t matter what they do, I’m done with them it has been a chore but I have finally found all the feed and supplies that I bought from TSC . With the exception of one but not giving up. Then I need to find a place that I can get my propane tanks filled for the winter, I’m not exchanging them I bought them all brand new from TSC in the last two years. They went woke now as far as I’m concerned they can go broke, besides a tiger never looses its strips it just rearranges them .

I am lucky to have both Tractor Supply and Rural King so I now go to Rural King only and not till I see NO hidden under the table DEI not to be seen by the Stock Market Customers before I ever go back. We have a small farm and purchased a good portion of our farm needs from Tractor Supply. When I found out about the gay pride celebration sponsored by them I cancelled my account. When asked why I wanted to cancel my account. I told them that I didn't want my money to go to support a lifestyle that I disagree with. They will never see anymore of my money. EVER!!!

This was brought up the other day on a video and the first comment was my feeling exactly, If they don't fire the CEO then they really don't mean it!!! Even then I'll be waiting to see if they try it again. Then and only then will I come back as a customer. In the meantime I look anywhere else I can for what I need and if I can't find it then I'll look at the tractor supply.

What I’ve learned is the government will not allow these publicly traded companies to avoid DEI and ESG status…which is why Budweiser and Target sold out…short term losses don’t matter vs. long-term goals…

Here's my TRACTOR SUPPLY story. In my community we had a "CENTRAL TRACTOR" store. It was a great farm supply store headquartered in Iowa. 1/2-1/3 of the store was tractor parts and they had a catalog of USED tractor parts as well. They built a large store but eventually sold out to tractor supply. Tractor supply then closed that location and built a new, slightly smaller store in a congested shopping area selling off the roadside portion of their lot maintaining a small access road to the store. Tractor parts have become very restricted typically parts for 50-60 year old equipment in 1 aisle of the store. Much of the traffic is related now to clothing and pets. Recently with the closing of our local Sam's club location, the former sams store ended up going to "Runnings" a privately owned farm supply with a far broader appeal than tractor supply. Today, Tractor Supply is headquartered in the Nashville TN area. We'll you might think that would be very RED , truth be told Nashville has grown huge over the last decade or two. Obviously a big part of Nashville is the music industry which has turned quite BLUE in the process. ( thats another rant or you can just look at Rick Beato talking about the death of rock and pop modern music - leaving urban music and "country". Country still has bands with actual instruments) Just like the red states people are flocking to from blue states the same happened to Nashville. With tractor supply being corporate they had the same happen to them. While our local store is a favorite place for farm kids to work or off-the-farm employment to happen, up the corporate chain is simply corporate chain with a disconnection with the values of the people they serve. It's important to be fair to everyone and to promote people on merit. No one should be promoted or discriminated on basis of things that do not affect ther job performance however its important to note they MUST perform in their job. So that's just my opinion. DEI should be banned as IT is discriminatory itself. I grew up with eeoc and that itself is enough.

There has been posts about tractor supply chicken feed that the chickens stopped laying. Farmers felt it was the feed and switched feeds. The chickens began laying again! Interesting.
Some people are TOO INVOLVED IN THEIR SOCIAL GOALS to MANAGE more then their next Social ENGAGEMENT, Shopping Spree, Night out, they are in charge at WORK but NOT FOCUSED on the JOB.

I liked TSC for years. I’ve totally stopped shopping there since that decision of theirs I can’t go along with. Walking it back has not made me want to go patronize any of their locations. Live and learn TSC.
