I love Belinda Carlisle. She's really a down to earth person. Accepting your mistakes takes a lot of guts. Good for you Belinda. I had a huge crush on her especially the time when she went solo. Her transformation were awesome. She blossomed from a baby faced singer to a drop dead gorgeous diva.
Well, I think it speaks volumes about her character that she was able to quit (not for 30 years, mind you, but eventually). Quitting any addiction is hard, especially one you get such a kick out of (as she did). It also speaks volumes about dumb luck. Any number of things could've happened. She usually binged ALONE, closed in her hotel room for around 3 days, so nobody would've even found her for at least 3 days... But I'm happy she seems to have finally found a semblance of peace.
What the hell is this? I can't believe that such a beautiful singer and woman had a trouble with drug and alcohol addiction.Is beauty a curse or what? I'm glad that she's clean now. Many, many greetings to Belinda from Serbia. Keep your spirit alive and kicking and all the best to you.
