sun sap grows on the thin trees that bridge the areas together mate. also congrats on finding that yolk quickly. still haven't found one after hours of searching.

Thank you so much!!! I've been farming Russia for Yolks for days - to no avail. I populated various nests using various hens AND roosters. Caught escaping hens and put them back into nests. No luck. And then YT recommended my your vid, it was rolling on my second screen - and voila! At about 20:00 I find a Yolk somewhere about the big portal. No hens nearby, too.
Love your videos but kind of wish you hadn't spoiled the new slime right in the thumbnail, I was just scrolling through my RUclips recommendations and there it was. Especially as this one wasn't mentioned in the patch notes only Sabre I feel like maybe it would've been nice to censor out what the actual slime was.

That just gives you an extra teleport back to the main ember island area but on the opposite side, into the ruins between the lava zone and costal area.

Sun sap is very rare, it only spawns on the red and orange conifer trees
It can spawn on a couple of the short tropical trees near the saber Gordo occasionally as well, that's where I got my first one.

That only happens (or at least is supposed to) from the pot from bursting the saber Gordo. Standard pots won't have sap

No, it's just a rare spawn, and only appears during the day, sort of like how the dew for flutter slimes only appears at night.
