- Simple Harmonic Motion is a very Important topic for JEE Main as well as JEE Advanced and every year question is always asked from SHM. There are some questions which have very long solutions if handled using traditional approach but with use of Taylor's theorem such problems can be solved in seconds.
Watch this video by Ashish sir to understand application of Taylor's theorem in solving problems of SHM for JEE.

Sir, please tell us about PST series.
Sir plz neet ki expected date or strategy Bata diziye bcoz board ki date announce ho gyi h plz sir upload vedio
Sir's jacket ZIP was also performing SHM throughout the video
Nice one
Angular SHM.Your profile pic is the greatest celebration
Haha, this made me chuckle.
I think Forced Oscillations
Not shm, it's oscillation. There's loss of energy and there's no fixed amplitude
Sir I can't tell you how grateful I am. I wanted to study Taylor's method but I couldn't find it anywhere on the internet. Thanks a lot sir
Thanks! Don't forget to share so that maximum students can benefit from the channel
@@physicsgalaxyworld unfortunately, koi share he ni krega... competition aur ku badhana😂

Ashish sir is one of the few teachers who talk about how to deal with physics, both in its purest form and also in exam point of view
Absolutely 👍👍 correct l wish if l was born in Jaipur.....😟😟😟😟☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️😢😥😢😥😢😭
It's the best thing I saw in RUclips related to shm, I had problems with questions involving shm of rotating bodies, and with this method now I am able to solve all those questions.

Undoubtedly the best teacher ever for JEE ADVANCED. Thank You so much sir.
We are very grateful for your efforts.
Yes only for advance
I got to know about taylor Series due to Ayanakouji from COTE
When he was 8 years old in white room He was Solving Taylor series. 🔥 & That hook me in & i find that interesting.
Are u a kid 😂
I used to leave this type of questions in exam becoz of its lengthy approach but now I think this method by ashish sir will eradicate the lengthiness of question .
So I am really thankful to you sir .
Great love and respect for sir ❤❤❤❤
Taylor and mclorian series was taught in limits
Yes..
True bro
Yes ryt
@Varun Varun u r so intelligent:-)
Is that the same huh?
At 9:03 we can simply approx sin(ax) as ax and equate it to mw²x by which we get w = √(Uoa²/m)
That's exactly what Taylor expansion is u just didn't include the step where u neglect higher terms instead u say it's an approximation
Wahi to...etne lambe method ko jaanne ki jarurat hi nahi hai..for solving just one question.. sin(z)= z, for z tending to zero ..ye use kar skate hai.
and in the second question we can use binomial approximation for getting the same result.I think that is the easiest way to solve these questions rather than remembering time period f'(0) always kyunki differentiation can be long sometimes with the division rule and product rule and stuff
.
Yes
Absolutely correct
@@chandankumar-wt8br thats exactly what taylor method is bro
I attend full time coaching in a very reputed institution, but even there we weren't taught this method, thank you so much sir...🙏🏻
Same case even here
Me tto5
Me too🥺
because it's an extra thing that is not in the syllabus. So ideally, it is not necessary to teach it, but it will give a bit of extra edge
@@baxi9227 actually its in maths syllabus, so we dont study it in physics, but today I got to know that it was mind blowing
Yes sir this method is awesome !
I can relate how they bypass traditional method !
Thank you.
Sir i was about to start taylor theorm from pg book from tomorrow.
I was searching on pg app i couldn't find.
Sir i was about to request about this to u on email as well.

Hi where are u now
Happy New Year sir...... Hope we will rock 2021exams 😇
Sir please make a video on Reduced mass systems, their kinetic energy and other useful physical quantities. A question was asked in JEE Adv 2019 which used that concept. Please also tell how to solve that question without using reduced mass.

this last ques was in your electrostatics book which made my pen run out xd bt now it can be solved on fingertips!!🖤🖤
bas ek problem hai.........
ye scheme sabko pata chal gai lol😂😅😅
Even if we follow the traditional method , we need not write the equilibrium position. The force can be simplified by using (1+x)^n = 1+nx for the second part of the Force .Then put the coefficient of x in the final equation as the constant and hence calculate the time period.
You are absolutely right...
This video helped me more in limits than in SHM

DOUBT -- Is The Motion in 2nd Qs really SHM ??
REASON -- Sir in the 2nd question of ball charges & spring the net force on ball is NOT directly proportional to displacement. Hence the motion is not SHM & hence we cannot use the time period equation of SHM
Pls correct me if I am wrong or if I am missing something
Awesome method sir
