The ship's emblem resembles the marathon logo. It appears a lot of times in the game, 343 has it on his eye, and the ships emblem appears in Keyes Uniform, and even his pipe LOL. This little details makes the difference between a great game, and a masterpiece.

This is how you make a game wrap-up. That was perfect, coming back full circle where you started after a huge campaign.
On another note, I never knew why Chief crashed that Banshee, but it was comedy gold after having played through the game.

8 years later (😂 sorry)... he did it to mess with Cortana because she kept telling him the banshee was falling apart and would crash before they reached the Pillar of Autumn.

I'm pretty sure it's implied chief did it because Cortana spawned him upside down at the start of Keyes and he wanted to mess with her as payback

When I played the game for the first time, I half expected Master Cheif to causually say, "Yup," after Cortona asked, "You did that on purpose, didn't you?" Master Cheif is badass enough to do that.

if you haven't noticed, there is an easter egg in this scene. at 0:38 seconds you can see the marathon symbol on the right side of the pillar of autumn. i have been playing halo for years. and i have never noticed this.

The scene is great, The music, Panning, And the atmosphere here really stand out. One of these days I got to redownload The Master Chief Collection on Steam to be prepared for Halo Infinite and the fact that this year Halo will be 20 years old.
