It really creates a triangle, if dpe gets hit every1 will jump to dragoon, if verte gets hit you can still make both dragooon and dpe in fusion based decks so who knows.... and as for konami being greedy I just think it's common sense... It starts being greed whenever the game becomes unplayable because they want to sell products, now it's fine IMO xD
@@Thundernumel You could always just put Witch's Strike in the side deck as far as Dragoon goes. Like, its definitely strong, but you still have workarounds and it doesnt bring itself out of the GY. With DPE, you just need to limit Fusion Destiny if you want to lock it to being only played in HERO decks. Destiny HERO players would have other fusion spells that they could use to get DPE on the board, such as D-Fusion (although, that would mean they couldnt summon it turn 1 if they're going first).
Monkeyboard's potential and extremely convenient way to set up scales is extremely powerful, even more than Electrumite. Pend Call was on the ban list limited and semi limited as well for similar reasons back then. Plushfire's monster effect triggers when you pop it in the scale zone, and it's not a once per turn either, and no restrictions on what you can summon. For Pendulum decks it would make it easier than ever to set up 1 card starters with these scale set ups. For someone who has never really played a deck like Pendulum too often, I never understood either why those 2 cards, and now electrumite for some time, were banned way back then. But when you compare their effects with more modern Pendulum cards, you can notice a difference in the restrictions. It kinda makes sense, since all 3 of those were cards that were brought into the game very early in their respective eras, giving a push to the new mechanic/new master rule, like Summon Sorcerer for example. It really does interest me how our ban list differs from the OCG's when it comes to pendulums specifically. Tbh it feels like Konami just doesn't wanna let them have their most powerful cards back even at 1, because of the potential they could become popular again and steal the spotlight of newer decks. Or they just regret making Pendulum cards lol

Pendulum may never dominate a meta whatsoever especially with the power level of the game constantly increasing. But as long as the potential is there, in their eyes, they'll keep those cards banned.

@@Thundernumel Performage Damage Juggler, Performage Trick Clown, and Performage Hat Tricker are all pretty good targets to spam from the deck. A non once per turn floating effect to ss from deck is just not healthy in Konami's eyes haha. Without Monkeyboard or Electrumite tho I think it would be fine for Plushfire to come back to 1 at least. Monkeyboard and Plushfire were both emergency banned on the same ban list so thats probably another reason they're hesitant to being it back.
I like ur prediction but I gotta disagree with the plush fire to 3, u see plush fire is one of the best pend monsters ever printed, bcs it can summon for example dmg juggler from deck, and destroying itself is super easy in pend deck bcs performapal pend sorcerer is a thing, which pops it’s scales if specialed and adds a performapal monster to ur hand, the popped scale can be plushfire and by popping it u get a free +2 in pend decks

I don't see the light or dark barrier statues getting hit as most of the relevant decks in the meta use lights or darks or even both. Though I could agree with the others, but wind is the only relevant one as tri-brigade and floo are the only relevant decks that can consistently get a barrier statue out.
Ghost from the past 2 just reprinted deskbot 001 as an ultra rare, why reprint it as an ultra if you are gonna ban auroradon, which is the card that makes you think of using deskbot 001 in the first place? I think auroradon will survive the next banlist :)

I'm still fine with mystic mine at 3 mine and skill drain = f u combos players. There's needs to be more stun decks out there. Nothing is more annoying then waiting 15 mins for people to mill half there decks and have 4 negates on the field.

Rlly hard for electrumite to coexist with astrograph as much as i'd like it. Hell, id rather have electrumite at 1 and sorc at 0 if need be
