    rather than thinking of living up to 140 years, one would do well to think WHERE one will go after death, whether "above" or "below"

    Good morning, thank you for providing latest news. Using these vocabulary, I tried to make some example sentences.
    1) It's optimistic of you to be able to get through all the troubles, It's a fifty fifty chance.
    2) Even if our parents became dementia, we would look after them taking turn. This's because they were born before us and golden oldies.
    3) The employees in the Fukushima nuclear power plant have groaned day after day, which's because all electrisity was down in the plant and unebale to take reaction against it. The critical fact have yet continued as of March 11, 2011.
    Bye.

    So, Beatle's song has a 50/50 to be right. When I am hundred ten, would be the remake. It is overpopulation on Earth, the worst problem in 2040 with 10 billion people until now. It has broken into little bits and pieces.

    What does it mean planet-hopping? I know hop as jump. So is it jumping around the planet? It's still not clear.

    • @bbclearningenglish
      @bbclearningenglish  Год назад +3

      Sometimes we use 'hop' to mean go to different places. If you go 'planet-hopping' in the future, it would mean to visit different planets. For now, you could go 'bar-hopping' which would mean to visit many different bars in an evening.

      It means 'visiting several planets, one after another, in a short space of time'. The phrase 'island hopping' has a similar meaning (but on Earth, not in space 😀)

    After the words, 'People can live for 140 years because of a safe world,' my heart aches, and I feel an overwhelming urge to cry. It deeply saddens me that we still experience wars in our time. The russian invasion of Ukraine stands as a grim testament to this harsh reality, claiming the lives of more than 23,000 civilians, including 484 innocent children. These individuals have been stripped of their fundamental right to life, as our world remains unsafe as long as such acts of aggression, like the one perpetrated by russia, persist
