@@ninjanolan2391 oh those wernt trills, trills alternate between two notes a lower note and then the note above it in the scale and then its played repeatedly a couple measures. @amandascott4425 Hello agian! I was wondering if the Selmer concept could provide a loud and powerful sound. In your opinion, do you think the Selmer concept provides a powerful and loud sound? Thank you!
hi! sorry i didn't see this sooner! i would say that it can but i struggle to really "blast" on it. compared to other mouthpieces i think that it is a little more on the quieter side but that is because it gives a very full, round tone. good for concert band and solo work but not blasting over top a band (so maybe not marching band). it may also differ depending on the reeds you use, when i use a jazz reed with it or a lower strength one it is quite louder than my normal concert reeds. hope this helps!
I would say working on them slowly and speeding it up to what’s comfortable. The D to C# to D to A is uncomfortable no matter what, if you like you can use alternate fingerings for C# to help, I know some people who use that!
Wdym by this? Pov stands for point of view, and this is from the point of view of an alto saxophone, sure it is not from my first person view, but it is a third person lens.
Also fun fact, this video has a percussionist using an eight foot slap stick he built! That’s why some of us laughed after the sound was made :D

My senior year in band, right on the final slap, the slapstick shattered and we all kind of just froze, not knowing if we should laugh or not
That’s cool! :D

Goated band song

That trumpet dude is playing really well
As a tenor and alto this is amazing.
I thought of doing alto but then decided to do tenor instead. You sound really good. Better than our altos tbh.

as a fellow sax having the under lying beat is always the best part we may not be main but were always main in my ears😊
as someone who used to play Alto Sax, this is good.
Many Great 16th-note figures.. played very evenly. .. you are indeed a 1st Alto!
Your tone is great, also nice selmer concept mouthpiece!
Those high notes in the main melody are a pain. I’m a fellow alto sax player and hated having to hit those
I never played sleigh ride, but does it go above high D
@@Blue_foxley yeah, the high e and f are the two notes I hated to play the most
