The plane landing in the water kind of looks to be an old WW2 American Navel Fighter or Navel Bomber. The navy blue paint is constant on Navel based planes, its either some type of Dive Bomber or a Navel Fighter/Bomber. Its probably not a Fighter because it looks like it could have a rear gunner which Navel Fighters like the Hellcat and Bearcat didnt.

If the cargo train is going pretty fast, it will take about a mile for it to stop once the brakes are applied. It looked like the semi-trailer bottomed out on the tracks and was stuck.
on the train one, you can see hes grounded out and stuck on the track, and pretty sure that's the driver actually standing there by his truck watching in the video.

The semi truck being hit by a train was actually grounded, it happened on June 25, 2021 in Moody, Texas. Bekins, the company of the semi that got hit, is a moving company. So, I'm betting that the semi was able to get over the hump when going out to whatever house they were going to, but after loading up all the stuff for moving it lowered the trailer enough for it to get stuck when trying to go back over it.

Not sure about the UK but here in the US there’s no law requiring you stop for an accident. So long as you don’t make it worse by hitting something you can keep going. If someone is riding normally I’ll stop for them. If they’re showing off, on a busy street, I have and always will keep going but I’ll stop long enough to roll my window down and ask them “hey, was it worth it?” Then just go on my way. Freight trains can be 1 to 2 miles long, a 200 car freight train hauling coal or a coal train can weight up to 18,000 tons. Based on the speed it is traveling it can take over 1 mile for a freight train to stop, this is after all of the emergency brake have been applied which I believe can take over 1 minute to go from the front to the rare of the train. Not sure of the speed but if they are going to hit a vehicle they do not want to be going too fast or too slow, they want to hit it at a speed that will bunt the vehicle off the tracks rather than pulling it under the train which will likely derail the train which can resault in the train and its cargo tipping over.
