hey all, it's been a minute since i did this sort of thing but i recently released two *free* compilation albums of my vgm covers, and this track is on one of them! allisonfleischer.bandcamp.com/album/vgm-vol-2 you can download the albums from my bandcamp for, again, zero dollars. i also have a frankly irresponsibly large amount of original music on there, including the recently-released "Blank Snowdrift", an icy, lightly angsty synthy ambient/artpop album. allisonfleischer.bandcamp.com/album/blank-snowdrift ok thanks for reading!
When i saw the length of this song i was like "holy shit why doing this for a contest, it's already so hard to vote?" But man, i didn't get bored a minute, the build up of the song is great, everything flows well and it keeps the song interesting all along, really well done!
Loved it, all the sounds were perfect, I especially liked the second movement. Also, nice seeing another Furi fan, that game deserves much more recognition.
Hmm. I hate to be the only person providing critical feedback, but in my opinion, there isn't enough going on in this music. Listening through on the second and third time, I really listened for subtle layers beneath the melody and main synth, and struggled find them. Heh - maybe I'm just expressing an hitherto unknown realisation that I don't actually care for synth...
@@allisonfleischermusic That is really cool that you can take criticism. I cook as a hobby and it stings when I hear that something I made sucks if I think it actually tastes good...but it's part of improving! I agree that there isn't enough layering which is what I think I loved about metroid music to begin with.
Generally, I like it, but some parts don’t mix well and make the track sound distorted in certain transition areas. But this retro style is pretty neat. Nothing like the original though 🤤
seriously the prime series had no fucking souls, especially the music it had zero atmsphere neither the immersion that the snes had.... that was probly my first biggest game disapointment before cyberpunk2077

ok thanks for reading!
Love it from start to finish, the genre fits the space theme perfectly.
thank you friend-consumer
You're welcome friend-producer
Very nice. Metroid prime 2 holds a special place in my heart and i appreciate the effort put into this remix.
I adore this kind of remix, both unique but still faithful to the original track.
My favorite is 05:35 which is my favorite track from the game thank you so much
Got damn, these synths are soo toasty!!
Awesome job man! Absolutely beautiful rendition!!
Wow, this is amazing! Not just the music but the explanation of your process as well! I'm going to be listening to this on repeat!
I'd love to hear an extended version of that Dynamo Theme.
Beats to hear the words of O-Lir to... Nicely done!
This is absolutely crazy. I love how the little sound effects add up to the atmosphere.
This is so beautiful. I listen every morning

get ready for the next contest when I do a track that's 30 minutes long
@@allisonfleischermusic Sounds like something I did.
Dynamo is my favorite part of your mix.
You deserve way more subs.
Great Remix! Echoes to me is the best game in the entire series. I hope it gets remastered because damn, it deserves it!
This is awesome :)
A bit late, but would love it if you released these songs as separate videos! If not, no worries! Thanks for the awesome reimagining!
mmm, those sexy synths
The memories man

no, I appreciate the feedback! adding more layers to my work is definitely a goal I have for the future.

This is great!
I like it!
I liked it so much that I am going to add it to the base game.

My comment was meant only for the first part of the medley, though. In no way was I referring to the transitions between songs.
cool! the rain should have gradually faded out at 5:32
sounds like a plants vs zombies minigame
