Have just finished watching Eternal Love and am such a huge fan of Mark Chao. His portrayal of Ye Hua was just magnificent with such a commanding presence ranging from masculinity personified to vulnerable and emotional. This role was just perfect for Mark to do it justice and he was so amazing and so so sexy, love him!!

One of my favorite shows ever. I'm reading the book right now, and the drama surprisingly goes quite along with the book. That usually never happens when a book is adapted into a movie or drama. The only difference I'll say is that, the book gives you the exact thoughts and emotions a chatacter was thinking or feeling within a scene, which is often not so easily portrayed by an actor; aside from that, Eternal Love, does a brilliant job following the details. My advice is that if you haven't read the book yet, it's best to watch the drama before you read. It gives you a more vivid picture of the various scenes in the book. It also helps that the actors are so fantastic playing the characters in the drama, you can almost picture them playing the scenes in the book.
All these actors deserve and award and the directors. I cried watching this and laughed too and felt like slapping sujin as if it was real. They tell the story well and its super amazing. Finished watching it on Netflix and the atmosphere of family is really projected well,the support and love they have for one another. Just amazing.

The way they put these romance stories together is just captivating. The scenery, their costumes and hair, accessories are fabulously breathtaking. Heartbreaking.! tugs at the heart strings. The acting is superb realistic deeply emotional and humorous too. Each and every actor is capable of performing leading roles. Brilliant.!
ETERNAL LOVE: A MILLENNIAL LOVE is the most beautiful Chinese love story I've ever seen ... I never tire of repeating it ... I look at it every month and I like it the most ... the whole story and its people were excellent .... I loved Mark Chao in his character Ye Hua ... is the only actor I've seen very well with long hair ... he looked very beautiful, sexy and when he loosen his hair completely as in the episodes where he recovers his arm looks too sensual ... I envied his hair .... it looked so natural .... in short .... few are the men who look like that and he is my favorite .. As they say ... not everyone has extra long hair ... but Mark was the exception ....

@@kadeshafrancis1274 already watch. TMOPB is better in my opinion. Ashes of Love i like the story but sometimes it make me feel annoyed especially the character of Jinmi. She is only eat the pill that doesn't allow her to fall in love but it look like she doesn't know how to think maturely. My fav character in AOL is Runyu. He is such a pitiful character. People hate him but didn't really know the reason why he changed so much. He become revengeful because of the empress and emperor (Xufeng's parents). I really angry when i found out the fact that Xufeng still defend his mother even though he know it is his mother fault. In the end both jinmi and xufeng throw the hate and blame runyu without knowing the fact that why runyu becoming like that. I just ergh the plot of the drama making me very stressful and mad. Like wtf?! How can cruel people like the empress and emperor being in the heaven.
@@venessasabella9059 same, didn't enjoy AOL because I just couldn't like JM and XF. Runyu was by far my fave character, the one I felt so sad for. I only finished watching because of him. XF blaming Runyu and conveniently forgetting his parents mistreatment of Runyu pissed me off.

Mark Chao is not the most handsome actor, he is not candyman type, but he is the perfect man for yen hua cast. He portrayed the character briliantly. Tough looking and cool demeanor but to those he love, especially bai qian, he is loyal and undeterred. Love the way he looked at her, so intense but so warm and gentle....waa....😍😍😍😍

Está fue mi primera serie coreana y me fascinó los actores son increíbles y la dirección de muy buen gusto ojalá pronto realizan la 2a serie me encantó y hoy en día veo este tipo de series felicidades
