I believe there's 2 unique attachments for this shotty in particular, a wrap and a barrel, I think, that help with fire rate, which I'm currently using and it's so much fun.
The gun has 2 attachment slots that can boost rate of fire and thats one of the unique lever wrap attachments for the grip slot (the dropshot wrap specifically) and a couple of barrel options (the 22.3" reinforced heavy barrel or the 17.1" hammer forged barrel) Just to note for those who want the gun to be a lil more forgiving, very useful in zombies as well (Edited for clarity to help a certain taco)
Hey Ace just wondering could you change the colouring on your range charts as the 2 and 3 shot colour yellow and light green are too similar and hard to tell apart for people who struggle to see colours like me, obviously this is more for future gun guides like in vanguard for example. I hope everyone here realizes that a .410 shotgun shell is basically a tiny thing meant for squirrels or snakes . It’s barely and I mean BARELY a defense load even with 00 or 000 buckshot . And it’s the most powerful shotgun :) makes total sense

Yeah I hated on it and skipped it for a few reasons (Cold War era/setting is boring, 150 health seemed unappealing, maybe cos the engine was worse, MW 2019 was good enough to last 3 years, lack of content - only 1 zombie map at launch, BO4 sucked so I didn’t expect Treyarch to deliver a good MP anymore, etc). But it was free last year and I enjoyed it. BOCW is still inferior to mw 2019, but it’s a B tier CoD imo.
They always go overboard with the power of these new weapons. A shotgun with a 10-12 meter range would have been enough to be the best one in the game, but now the Hauer is just useless. Seriously, Hauer is just ridiculously irregular with its one shot kills.
Idk, feels weird as there’s some moments where I’ll absolutely snipe someone and some days where I just only hit them JUST enough to get them one shot.
Pairing the reinforced heavy barrel with the dropshot grip is a absolute must. They both increase your rate of fire significantly helping for follow up shots. Your ads will still be good since its base is so good. Its a must imo.
the attachments i run are the infantry v choke, the reinforced heavy for range and fire rate, the 5 mw laser, the dropshot wrap for fire rate and relode speed, and the no stock for sprint to fire time
How did you forget to mention the grip that increases rate of fire and reload time, combined with the rate of fire/range increase barrel and this thing is a beast. Just got it gold today, bloodthirsties we're a breeze.
In core and hardcore this is SUCH a fun gun to use. I know the streetsweeper is more practical for HC since it's full auto and has a high fire rate, but the ironhide is just so satisfying
If you're able to hit your shots, I recommend swapping out the 8 round tube for the Dropshot Wrap. Besides the "Flinch-Resistance" or dropshot capabilities it gives, it also gives you a faster fire rate and faster reload speed.
Honestly, gotta go with a fire rate barrel, drop shot wrap for fire rate, final stock, maybe the final suppressor to stay off the radar, and either an optic or the basic laser. That's the setup that absolutely smacks.
Anyone who plays destiny, this is like the chaperone for CoD which I think is awesome to add some different style weapons to a game where most guns all feel the same
what about dropshot and airborne elastic wrap? dropshot is faster fire rate and airborne elastic wrap helps with reload speed although i havent tried elastic
Idk I love the iron sights to this gun, combination of the stock sights with the crazy range and tight pellet spread makes it easy to get kills at medium range. Plus I’m a traditionalist, and I like the old school look to it

eh. sure it has a very long 1 shot kill potential compared to other shotties, but i see no reason to use them over the akimbo marshals as a secondary esp when running scav to keep your primary filled.
There are moments of inconsistency with it but usually only with hip fire. Overall I like it though. I've had some nice games with it as my secondary to the Grav... don't think I'll use it in WZ...

Is it just me or is there a delay between pulling the trigger and this thing actually firing? It's like a weirdly pronounced open-bolt delay, at least on PC, and I don't mean sprint-out time.
Never even tried to take deer with a shotgun, why handicap yourself? You would need to be what, within 50 yards at least? I've never been within 50 yards of a live red deer and don't reckon I could get that close so I will stick with my rifle

I feel the .410 is very disappointing. If it fired slugs like the Argus from BO3, it would make the shotgun's accuracy far more appealing than being what feels like a Hauer reskin.

Extended mag is kinda pointless. If you cant get 2-4ish kills with 6 shots as your default, youre either dead or a bad shot anyway and it doesnt take much time to reload 1-2 rounds between gunfights. Its really fast. Since its a secondary, not really needed to have large amount of ammo for a one tap weapon used for only certain situations. On top of this MOST people are running scavenger anyway Better off getting better sprint to fire, more range, an optic, or just something that can help win gunfights.
@Coraline Melody Thats honestly personal preference but using an extended mag on this weapon is really the least useful attachment. I believe the default ammo is 20-32ish rounds and thats more than enough rounds. An optic, extending the range, suppressing, aim walking movement speed, sprint to fire, and ads time are the attachments that are important here. Hipfire is kinda useless too but its still more useful than extended mag because *maybe* you run into a scenario where are point blank and can hip fire? Its not like its the Gallo or Streetsweeper and having more rounds is useful and you are rapid firing. Its a ONE tap shotgun and id you miss that first shot....youre dead anyways

Actually the handles are unique. One increases reload time while another rate of fire.
