Very fresh, body off frame restoration. #s match optional 350 hp motor, 4-speed and 3.70 posi. Striking original colors. It's always been an Alabama car. A wealthy collector bought it in very good shape. He likes his cars to look new. He spends a fortune restoring them, then ends up selling them at a big loss. Here is an opportunity to take advantage of someone else's money and time.
EXTERIOR: Repainted it's original Classic White which is a bright white. The body is mint, no damage. The paint is like glass. Every piece of exterior trim looks new. The bumpers, correct antenna, door handles, mirror, emblems, luggage rack all sparkle. The trim around the windows is polished like chrome. The windshield is new. The jambs are painted spotlessly, even up by the hinges. New weatherstrips and seals. 15x8 rally wheels look new, the trim sparkles. New BFG tires. White convertible top is new.
INTERIOR: This bright blue really pops! Very, very meticulous. All the big items like door panels, carpet and upholstery look new. All the little bits and pieces look new too- visors, mirror, pillars. The dash pad, gauges, console, vents are mint. The seat cushions were replaced, it has embroidered floormats, seat belts look new. The rear compartments are restored. Interior lights work.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Highly, highly detailed. Vin # matching 350 with optional 350 hp. The cast codes and dates match. It has correct air cleaner, finned valve covers, ignition shielding Every component is restored like new- alternator, wiper motor, cooling system etc. The vacuum parts look new. It has power steering and power brakes.
UNDERSIDE: Underneath looks new! Every component was removed, replaced or restored. These have independent suspension front and back. Both were completely rebuilt. The steering system was completely rebuilt including the power steering system. Brake system was restored. It has disc at all 4 corners. Brake lines, hoses and e-brake assembly look new. New factory type dual exhaust with square tips going through the valence. The fiberglass floors have a tidy semi-gloss finish. The spare tire carrier is complete. The frame is a smooth semi-gloss black. Looking up at the motor it looks spotless. Starter and fuel pump look new. # matching M-21 Muncie 4-speed. The trans and linkage look new. Correct # 3.70 posi. The u-joints look fresh. Everything under this car looks super fresh like it was just finished. Right down to the nuts and bolts, ground straps, bushings etc.
I'm really impressed with how fresh and detailed this car is. Above and beyond most others. It is a sharp color combination that I rarely see. #s match, desirable, nut and bolt restored. This is investment material.

FANTASTIC LOOKING VETTE
Happy Easter Monday to all at Volo and fellow followers,what a gorgeous car finished in the colours of the day,as a youngster in England id seen a Mustang Sprint convertible in white with blue interior,the owner took time to show me the interior engine and it made my day,his girlfriend was friendly but giggled over my enthusiasm,id later work in American car spares and even own A 1970 Pontiac GTO which back then was £3000. These days I get my car fun on Forza games as been in a fair few States cars and it rings back happy memories,along with watching old states programs from 70s on DVD and collecting Hotwheels and of course these super vids.

Wow, I love this car. Chevrolet was just firing on all cylinders for so long, before it got slammed by the 70's.
Of course they got brand new seats for a 1970 Corvette, and I can't get them for my 2007 from GM or anywhere else, other than another car of the same year. Go figure.

Wow. That really really really looks good. The blue interior makes the white exterior even brighter, ant the white makes the blue look almost electric. Boy those headlights popped up fast...much better than on my stingray

So clean, “restored last night”, aptly said.
Curious about the backrest abrasion, hadn’t seen that before.
Perhaps a 6 foot plus driver and passenger, relaxed enjoying the seats all the way back in their tracks.

Nice Vette ,but never liked or understood the luggage rack look.
I have a rack on my stingray...i like the extra brightwork. Plus took a trip down and up the west coast with partner and dog...dog lived in cubby behind seats and rack was perfect for 2 duffel bags...great way to travel along side the ocean
