It's not as pronounced in some as much as others, but it not hard to find some pretty strong examples. I personally don't take offense to it cause I realize they're is nothing wrong with having pride in you country, even if that country has flaws, but I imagine it can be a turn off for many people. Furthermore, most of the racism I see in Chinese novels is actually directed towards the Japanese to be completely honest. Though Anti western sentiment can be found in just about every Asian countries media e.g. Christianity more often than not is portrayed in a negative light, English characters (or any European for that matter) are almost always belligerent and rude, ect. Whether that's because of resentment for western imperialism or something else I can't tell you, but it's not like it's hidden, nor is it any reason to not enjoy what your watching/reading because in the end it's just a story and being caught up in that is moronic.
