I was in my 40s before I discovered I wasn't a year of the dog. My birthday sits at the point where the lunar New Year jumps back in forth over that date. So, technically, I am Fire Rooster by just 3 days. It doesn't feel like it fits me. I am sure other things in my natal chart affect me. Love your readings!
