Sony ECM-B1M vs. ECM-B10 - Which One is Better?

I recently purchased the Sony ECM-B10 to add to my collection of camera microphones.
I wondered if the small, cheaper, B10 had a noticeable quality difference to the older, bigger, and more expensive B1M.
I was surprised by what I discovered.

Great video. Listening to the phrases, I heard a tiny difference if I put my phone speaker up to my ear: the B1m had a bit more base, and the b10 was a bit more tin sounding, but dude, it’s less than a 5% difference. Thanks for this, the B10 is overall better since it’s smaller and has a better shock mount.

It wasn't very windy when I recorded that videos but I have used the smaller one several times outside and it sounds good. Dead cats work pretty well in general. Doesn't reduce the sound and both use a sleeve that is easy to put on

Like audio levels or my height in the video? I was trying to match up the two tripods, I admit from a height perspective something was off (I don't know what the heck I was doing that day)
