- Gray’s of 1858 occurred in a specific historical context, preceded by many excellent anatomy books. This video only briefly introduces the viewer to a selection of 19th century anatomists and their books. Several more videos will follow to explore the topic more fully, across multiple centuries, and multiple publication formats.
I'm so glad I found your channel! Informative and interesting!
Nice collection of anatomy books. I have a facsimile copy of the 1771 Encyclopedia Britannica, in which the first volume has an extensive anatomy entry of some 165 pages with various illustrations. I don't know how many copies of the original and early editions are circulating privately, though.
I love these longer videos!!
Do you know how to do classical bookbinding? Can you do videos about it? Would be very usefull for me.
Unfortunately, I am not a binder, only a book seller.
Wait, Gray actually wrote an Anatomy book?
