I listen to the Lady Gaga cover and that was terrible but this song actually funny, it made me laugh. So technically I can't say I hate it but their intent wasn't to make a comedy song.
I actually kinda liked how slow it was, thought it was pretty well thought out and clever and gave an interesting vibe to the song. Very restrained in contrast with the lyrics/vocals.
Dear all the people who hate this, these songs are covered by 'screamo' bands for fans of screamo music, such as myself. if you hate this kinda stuff then why listen to the song when it clearly says 'screamo cover' in the title? use some common sense people! furthermore, i love this song! XDD
to an extent you are right in that every genre has the uninspired musician who can't do anything new, but every genre in an of its self is not really generic, for instance take post hardcore, its mostly a shit filled bucket of uninspired music, but some bands within the genre are pioneering and producing great music...
