Look, I want T.Lance to succeed and hope they give him the vast majority of snaps the rest of preseason but it’s going to be tough for him to make the final 53. They have too many other positions that they need to g “long” at and I can’t imagine that Lance would beat out C.Rush who has proven he can win games as a starter when Dak is out. At the end of the day, Lance always looks the same, he’s never shown really any improvement at all….sure he hasn’t played much but do you really think they should sink a bunch of money in what looks like a failed experiment? He’s a FA after this season and even if they were to move on from Dak, they will draft a QB and probably be in some sort of rebuild, which would be horrible!

They usually don’t like to carry 3 QBs because of that and I doubt that he can beat out C.Rush. How much more time does Trey lance need? He’s in year 4. Does he need a decade? Do we really think one more year will help? He’s not starting caliber on any nfl team and not even on some college rosters

Starting caliber is irrelevant when the plan is for him to be a back up
