Hearing the wisdom and stories from their dad made me feel like I was living in a time where technology didn’t exist, but Faith, love, fun and discipline mattered. I love this episode
Iman,Ahrii, and the staff, I think y'all got something special. Keep pushing THIS type of culture forward. It's important and necessary. Good job Uninterrupted.
Thank Y'all so much for this. Congratulations gentlemen. You all are creating something that really matters in real time. Thank You for holding us up and contributing to our community and our traditions. We are extremely proud of y'all.
This was an amazing episode!! It's' not often that you get an opportunity to pull back the curtain and listen to black men express their hopes and fears...their journeys through life. I hope that Iman and Ahri bring on their other brothers for a conversation. I'm proud of the show and what you all are doing to bring attention to fatherhood.
Great interview with dad. Thank you for sharing. We need to get back to strong families. 2 parent household. Sitting together at the dinner table. No phones.
This is an amazing ep. Wish I could have done this with my father. Thanks for showing people how important it is to learn about family history and going down memory lane.
I always wondered how different life would be with an active father in my life. This further let's me know what I missed out on 😂😭. Thanks for the content gentlemen.
This episode of your podcast is a book waiting to be written. Family values as they adapt from generation to generation and the wisdom past down from father to sons.
That question that Shump asked…well they’re all Shump…but the one Iman asked at 17:10 was a very important one. Blended families and first timers…very good question.
At 36, black male, no father growing up, this was a great interview! I wish i had this dynamic and relationship growing up with my father, also my mother. Never once did i get a chance to sit down, talk, get to know who they are, I was raised in the SOUTH by Grandmother. I watched evey minute of this interview and took in a lot of wisdom from it. Things that i can apply in my daily life, and ways i can be a better Father to my son and daughters.
I Appreciate this Episode Jo! I grew up without a Dad, but I have 2kids (twins, actually) and I pour EVERYTHING into them...all that I felt I needed coming up! This was so pure and very refreshing... Thanks Jo!!!
Omg this was amazing! I love hearing men talk their dad and say well this what I felt or thinking and they give the REAL response. This was is for the books Iman, brother and dad!!!
This yall most important episode!!! One thing about having a great father in your life is he becomes a father for those close to you. Thanks for sharing yall pops and showing were yall greatness comes frn
Man!! I love this so much!! As my father is no longer with me (was only 57 when he passed). I was laughing when I heard y’all talking about why/how you became Catholic, as I grew up Baptist and then acquired my spiritual foundation as an adult in a Pentecostal church. Y’all definitely wouldn’t have been able to hang. Haha I’m only 12min in. But this episode already confirms why Iman is beloved by many. It’s clear how well you were raised as a man. Shoutout to your big bro who I’m only meeting after subscribing to this podcast. Continued blessings to your beautiful family ❤.
Great episode!! Salute....all black men need to see this and get this information about how to be a father and how to raise kids...mental health...etc. It's dope to have your parents on the show and viewers get to see your background and where you come from. Keep it up fellas!! 💯✊👊
Bro’s Y’all act like me and my bro. Thanks for this one RIP to my Pops! This is my Favorite Epp. So much for y’all (Us) to be thankful For! Thanks Big O!
My family has the same feelings about our roots in Mississippi. Not wanting to go back and divide the property. Went to Chicago and settled in Kentucky.

We might be family jk 😂 Our story similar. My grandparents from Mississippi moved to Chicago. Had stores etc. my grandparents moved to Memphis but my great aunts and uncles stayed in Chicago area, Rockford Harvey Etc. Never met any of them.
The smile and the pride of his sons on that mans face is what every father should dream of.
