I've been watching a few of her live performances for this dog because the movement and presentation is beautiful. But what I've noticed is she moves her leg in movement to the song in almost all performances. It's truly amazing how she connects to her music. I love her. And people hating on her. You should remember she's still a person, she has feelings. Like I'm sure you do, even if it's hard to see for me, I'm only 14 so I haven't experienced everything, but I don't understand why people can be so judgemental. If you start to read a bit about her or watch some of her interviews, you will see that she is a no BS type of person. I have not yet seen her in person, but the videos of her performances show the power of her songs -her music works on live stages, radio programs, and simple settings. Search 'sia kcrw'. In an interview SIA said that closing your eyes allows you to focus better on your voice placement and it prevents one from getting distracted. When she came back and hid her face, it also helped her not getting distracted by people looking at her and her wondering what they might be thinking or noticing a funny haircut and make her lose her words. Some people have more difficulty focussing on one thing at a time. And Sia is ofcourse still recovering from taking opioids. She did say that she'll show her face at some point. An artist like Beyoncé dances, sings and knows exactly where the cameras are, interacts with the audience during a song and doesn't get distracted.
Sia sings about being codependent and how emotions run our world. Beautiful and mystical, it is cathartic for us to hear and we immediately relate to her lyrics and emotions displayed therein. Thank you Sia.
