Be frank, I have been wondering if the prerequisite of PR for BNO visa holders shall be relaxed as they are literally all British subject, the visa tends to be a humanity route to the UK for settlement. I would say that they are not migrants but more like home moving to the UK as majority of them are possessing British nationality but their rights of abode were deprived for some reasons, it seems to be unfair; unreasonable and redundant for them to nationalise to become a British subject again? So, sitting the Living in the UK test is considered to be more than enough, the objective is just to prove them being suitable for settlement in the UK. In fact, not every one of them coming is of their own accord, their spouse/parents of whom coming along but not properly skilled in English might find themselves difficult to meet the requirement. I would like to see if the UKGOV would reassess the situation in a year or 2 as to tweak the policy a bit for the real world scenarios.
