How did you miss Charlie Ward who won the Heisman Trophy in football but was drafted in the first round into the NBA because no one in the NFL would give him a shot.
I feel like NBA players making the switch to football would be an easier transition. There have been a lot of players who played college basketball who were not good enough to make it to the NBA focus on football and make it some played little to no college football ie Antonio Gates he was 6’4” a tweener in terms of basketball too small to play Power Forward but lacked the skills to be a SG/SF combo. I think NFL players would definitely be able to compete from an athletic standpoint but would they have the shooting skills handles to play in the league?
