Hi Heidi. I was looking at your FAQ trying to find the length of your boat. But i can't find the info on the website. (I am seriously thinking about getting My CNC business of the ground in the next couple of years and then moving to the water. I want to be selling CNC and 3d printed craft items and working as a floating builder repairing interiors/painting/tiling, alterations etc.)

From Canada here... We love the 'dark and stormy' drink also! You might like this even better though... Grab a sprig of rosemary and crush it in with your rum in the bottom of your glass with something that will crush the leaves of the sprig to release those amazing flavor's. Kinda' like a pestle and mortar thingy. Once you've done that, add your Ginger Beer to your glass with ice and you will thank me forever... The Rosemary really kicks this drink off! Happy hangover to you when you try this!
My best magnet is THE SEA SEARCHER. It Pulled a navvie’s wheelbarrow out of the canal, no problem.. its 6”x5”double plates an inch apart making it so strong that acts a job getting it free once it’s grabbed anything metallic. Cost £12 10 years ago.
I call Kracken and Ginger Beer, Perfect Storm, to not interfere with that other Rum. My favorite bartender knows what I want when I ask for a little Krack!

Boat poles are invaluable! Cruising here in the Pacific NW of the USA also means we take care of each other, whether we've ever met before or not. So glad to see that's true around the world. After 29 years of boating, I'm now a caravaner, but the care and friendship still applies. Really fun info about magnet fishing ... I might try that here too! Heidi, my daughter and I went out for a little impromptu cruise during the Summer and forgot to unplug our shore line cable thing …… i also broke my finger after getting a rope wrapped around it. 😱 While my daughter was supergluing my finger to try to stop the bleeding I said to her, This cruise has been an epic fail. She said, Epic fail?? We’re both still alive and Jazzy is still floating, it’s been an epic success!! 😂 xx

Your filming is great, and the shots where the Sun is low and silhouettes the scene is how our eyes would see it anyway. I'm a street photographer and I love to see scenes like that. Sometimes technology compensates for the light so we can see the whe picture which doesn't give you the real eye view🙂.

Heidi amusing.i worked on a ranch wether hoarses. 2 yrs. Worked .5 years on a big garden in the barn, farme house and a tool shedd.before the ranch. Grown up my teacher and me .he has past away urban blight.
So you have to wait for things to harden before you can carry on, eh? My brother has a magnet on board to rescue windlasses etc. I can assure you, everybody has 'Cocked it up' at some stage. In 1971 we watched a BWB working boat that had obviously changed banks, because one of the workers came up from below deck, turned right instead of left and we watched as he stepped straight into cut. We laughed and laughed, but when he stood up it were only about four feet deep where he stood. Belting sunset.
Thursday night used to be Top of the Pops night but now it's Heidi night!. The Apprentice tv programme was in Antigua tonight and the numpty contestants were useless at explaining about rum! You could have been a master class there. Bit far to take to take your narrow boat!!😅

If you want a really impressive hand espresso maker that requires no power at all you should take a look at the Picopresso. It makes astonishingly good espresso shots. I take mine everywhere i travel.
You have got me back in to enjoying Rum, only taken me almost 50 years!! A good friend bought me a bottle for Christmas, I hadnt seen or heard of this Rum before, so I asked Mr Google, its an English brew from Essex called Tiptree, English spiced rum, sadly its now all gone, those I only wet my lips didnt last long, 8 days!! to MT...........Going to metal detecting in canals/rivers, no good to me, I have a Pacemaker fitted, last thing it needs to be near is anything magnetic. Really looking foreward to sign writers finished work...........I just knew you knew us fella's were counting bridge numbers, takes one to know one.....lmao...

Magnet fishing might be useful if you drop your keys again (hope not) but, what the heck, kind of looked like harmless fun that helps keep the waterways just a little less dangerous to boat bottoms. Ah HA! So forgetting things isn't just with us "old people" (I'm 74) .... nice to know. Looks like you got done what needed doing so what does it matter. The narrowboat community seems to be a very diverse group of caring and wonderful people and I am glad you have each other for support, companionship, and advice. I am fascinated by how vloggers start out kind of shy and looking for direction and then blossom into fascinating people. I love riding along with you on the Rum Wench and experiencing the up and downs ... the fun and the stressing ... you make my life much happier just riding along over the internet with you. Hiya Heidi - I love a good coffee brew too. I grind my own beans & use a 'plunger pot' (French Press?) mostly - cheapo but also enjoy an Italian stove top percolator occasionally. Love an Aussie 'Bundeberg' Ginger Beer too down here but there's nought wrong with a cold Stella on a hot day. Good Video cruise. Thanks

Heidi amusing.i worked on a ranch wether hoarses. 2 yrs. Worked .5 years on a big garden in the barn, farme house and a tool shedd.before the ranch. Grown up my teacher and me .he has past away urban blight.

In 1971 we watched a BWB working boat that had obviously changed banks, because one of the workers came up from below deck, turned right instead of left and we watched as he stepped straight into cut. We laughed and laughed, but when he stood up it were only about four feet deep where he stood. Belting sunset.

You have got me back in to enjoying Rum, only taken me almost 50 years!! A good friend bought me a bottle for Christmas, I hadnt seen or heard of this Rum before, so I asked Mr Google, its an English brew from Essex called Tiptree, English spiced rum, sadly its now all gone, those I only wet my lips didnt last long, 8 days!! to MT...........Going to metal detecting in canals/rivers, no good to me, I have a Pacemaker fitted, last thing it needs to be near is anything magnetic. Really looking foreward to sign writers finished work...........I just knew you knew us fella's were counting bridge numbers, takes one to know one.....lmao...

Magnet fishing might be useful if you drop your keys again (hope not) but, what the heck, kind of looked like harmless fun that helps keep the waterways just a little less dangerous to boat bottoms. Ah HA! So forgetting things isn't just with us "old people" (I'm 74) .... nice to know. Looks like you got done what needed doing so what does it matter. The narrowboat community seems to be a very diverse group of caring and wonderful people and I am glad you have each other for support, companionship, and advice. I am fascinated by how vloggers start out kind of shy and looking for direction and then blossom into fascinating people. I love riding along with you on the Rum Wench and experiencing the up and downs ... the fun and the stressing ... you make my life much happier just riding along over the internet with you. Good Nz morning Heidi. Love your channel. Looking forward to seeing the finished results of the sign writing. In a previous comment, I referenced the fact that back in 2008 I along with another couple hired a narrow boat and finished up on the Llangollen Canal and the village itself. This was September October of that year.
