I imagine this creature is lonely, it’s way to big and maybe the last of its kind, it’s large enough to create earth quakes, or maybe even shake the Teutonic plates, it’s roar could shatter small creatures like humans or others, it’s tail probably drags through the dirt, making paths for others to follow it, it’s wings have enough power to knock buildings and even large mountains over, it also maybe hurt for something, those roars don’t sound like a normal call, maybe a injury is paining it, or it is lonely in need of a mate
We would do EVERYTHING to kill this thing. I'd argue that, if that thing would actually exist, humanity wouldn't exist like it does today.

Despite how intimidanting the sounds are, the image of the happy kid with his mom watching very calmed down the beast makes me think the dragon is a protector, wich is kind of relaxing.

@@charrochacallo3074 it gives you a vibe that there's a world full of adventure and wondrous things like the colossal dragon and that you can have a beautiful girl and just go out exploring. The stylistic art also adds to that, portraying this world as beautiful making us long to live there. Or fantasize to be there.
Plus the roar of the dragon just further brings it to life without sounding like the generic movie roar

Yeah I'm listing to it at night it's quite scary.
I don't know why but I suddenly imagined the lore for this. there are areas of this land called "Eden craters" and the rest of the land called "dead land" is where gigantic monsters called "colossals" roam. in these craters are colonies of people that have managed to survive because the colossals cant walk on the craters due to it having rich, fertile soil that's harmless to humans but lethal to the colossals. trading among the colonies is done by flying transport but smugglers or criminals travel across the ground due to going undetected and not many people will survive. recently there's been talk of a legendary colossal destroying Eden craters and only the colossal dragon can stop it.
I would imagine just something that size with more humanoid features looking horrifying as frick wandering about and its roars alerting everything in the nearby area to pray to the lords that it can't see you as its not big enough to ignore you, but not small enough to not be able to harm you as you check off your bucket list and hope you got everything knowing that your last days might be here idk why I just typed this maybe they might make a movie outta this I don't know but nice work writing a small paragraph

I like the ones that sound more like an explosion than a roar, because realistically, they would be. A creature that size that was capable of creating vibrations that intense would essentially be letting off small-scale bombs every time it vocalized. Either it would drone up into what sounded like a full-throttle jet-engine in all directions for miles and miles and miles, or it would burst out akin to a literal high-explosive detonation, and would behave much the same way.
Whales can already literally vibrate a human to death if they want to, it's part of how they hunt. The clicks they make are so powerful that divers who spend too much time in the water with whales come out feeling like they're hot all over, because the vibrations they were pounded with were literally heating up their bodies continuously overtime.
Something even a few times bigger than a sperm whale, let alone hundreds of times bigger like in the art depicted, would literally be able to topple mountains by roaring in their direction while up close to them (of course it would need remarkable sci-fi biology to explain how it wasn't ripping its own throat apart each time it did so).

I accidentally went into the dead zone once,
IT WAS TERRIFYING
1. The creature covers almost the entire screen with its body and wings.
2. It's standing right behind big mountains so that you can directly compare them, which communicates its colossal size.
3. In between the dragon and the hill the humans are standing on, there is fog. This tells us that it's standing very far away (as does the scale of the mountains). This communicates its size even more.
4. For more effect, it offers a human perspective, not only where one adult stands and watches it in awe, but also while holding a child. The perspective that offers the size difference between the child, the adult, the landscape, the mountains, and finally, the unimaginable creature.
The very fact that the dragon, a living and breathing creature as opposed to an inanimate landscape, is on top of the chain of the size comparisons sends a powerful message.

Honestly, most of those are just various animal sounds with waaay too much reverb and echo. They're nice enough, on their own... but something that big, exhaling that quickly in a show of force, probably sounds like a mix between a tornado (which sounds like a freight train), and a god damn rocket launch. I've been to a shuttle launch in Cape Canaveral before. Watched from the balcony of the condo a mile or two away. EVERYTHING shook and we had to cover our ears. :>
It's just, with that kind of size, any vocal sounds would be so low we wouldnt hear them - all we'd hear is the air exploding out. I imagine there'd be an initial shockwave, followed by the deafening sound of, well, tornado+rocket.

Like, that image tells a thousand words. You don't even need a backstory or some existing lore, it already tells a tale about some fantasy world. A world where massive beasts bigger than mountains stride across the landscape, inspiring awe in the puny insects who claim to rule the planet. The sound just makes that world all the more real.

Actually scared my whole neighbourhood with the help of my friends. First we scrambled speakers all around the neighbourhood and even got some of the neighbours to play this on their house devices at full volume . Synchronised everything and sweet Jesus it was scary as hell

Honestly the thing that truly scares me the most about this dragon is not its size or its roars. No, the thing that gets me about this dragon is its abnormal teeth. For something so massive, it seems to have teeth that dont even align its entire mouth and only has frontal teeth and no back teeth and molers. Along with that, the teeth from the view of the picture also look square shaped, eerily bearing similarities to a humans teeth.

I like to think given how the woman and child seem to be looking at it with admiration and not fear that this dragon is more a kind of ancient guardian. It could survive on ambient energies of some form and only awakens when there is a grave and dire threat of some kind that mere humans can not deal with on their own.
I can only imagine being a BBEG who is two steps from ending all life on a continent only to find this thing staring him/her down last minute.

lmfao when I was a kid I had a really big imagination. I actually swear to god I felt the ground moving every few nights like there was some giants outside walking around.
