Watching this game with my parents was an amazing memory I’ll cherish. I can’t wait to see how crazy and emotional your reactions were jolly man this really happened
My favorite moment besides the elated reaction to Lindor's go ahead 2-run bomb was Jake slowly leaving the stream awkwardly and Olive whispering him to leave after the Braves 4 run rally😂
I was working while listening to the radio. I said "There's no hope" to "HOLY SHIT NO FUCKING WAY" to "Oh fuck it's over" to "HOLY SHIT NO FUCKING WAY" to "IT'S BEEN NEARLY A DECADE"
Im 48 years old and i saw the 86 world series. I saw game 6 of the 86` NLCS. But i think this game to clinch the play off spot is the best game ive ever seen. That was nuts.
I just got to the Nimmo HR at 00:05:14. Little did we know what was about to happen. I gotta hear how you guys handled the bottom of the 8th to see how similar it was to the feeling in my house. Yep. 00:06:21 was the exact vibe here. I did NOT believe the Mets could overcome A. finally breaking through for 6 runs only to B. give it up the VERY NEXT INNING. Fairly certain I lost at least a few months of my life watching this lol. LET'S GO METS!!!
oh yeah and then what happened the second game? boring ass game 2, surely not the players being anxious and high energy/effort for game 1 and getting gassed and emotionally low for game 2, it's way more realistic to think MLB somehow switched out every single ball in the stadium
@@Taylor-gb5gf I mean 2 things can be true right? What you says doesn't refute the ball being juiced. You realize they have 1-0 and 2-0 games in the playoffs, right? Where no one hits all that much? Just because the ball is juiced doesn't mean it's going to be a high scoring game every time, especially in a double -header situation where, as you said, the players are gassed. The last few home runs in game 1, the way the ball left the bat, would not have gone out under normal circumstances, even in the Atlanta heat. Atlanta's might have been a double, but NY's definitely would have just been a flyout.
@@kbutler0615 Can two good teams not play a good game with juiced playoff balls? I can point to several years worth of good playoff games where the balls were obviously juiced. It's not like I'm saying it gave any team a larger advantage because they all used the same baseball in the game. All I'm saying is that the balls were juiced because there were home runs hit that obviously would not have went out under normal circumstances, even in Atlanta heat. I don't understand why y'all are getting so immensely defensive. We know MLB does this and y'all are out here pearl clutching like I said something that has never ever happened before. Lol.
CAN WE TALK ABOUT BRANDON NIMMO PIMPING THAT HOME RUN!!! I DIDNT KNOW HE HAD THAT IN HIS BAG! Seems so out of character but he was def just fed up w Michael Harris lmao
Was never really too concerned, cuz it seemed inevitable that the other team would win game 2 anyway 😆 But don't get me wrong, I was hyped that they won game 1 😁🙌🏻🎇🎆
_Uh, ACK-CHUALLY,_ 😆 it was a 7-run comeback against the Phillies in May 2022. Just kidding, your broader point still stands. (And the Phillies went to the WS that year anyway, despite going 5-14 vs. the Mets, including the two big Mets comebacks, and getting no-hit.)
I imagine the Braves fans were sh*tting their pants at this point, because if the Mets were to win the 2nd game, the Braves would be done. However, they won game 2 so both teams are going to the playoffs. Sucks for the Arizona fans, but that's baseball.
As a Phillies fan who has been rooting for the Mets because clearly I hate The Braves more, I’m sad that our alliance must come to a close and, once more, I have to say f*ck the Mets. Happy for you though, Jolly.
Went from "Thanks Mets Fans" to "WE GOT THIS" to "it's so over" to "WE'RE SO FUCKING BACK"
Yeah, as a Mets fan, that's pretty much how we roll.
Calm down, the Brewers will soon end your ridiculous dreams of advancing in the playoffs 😂😂

They better light that candle any time the Mets are behind (if it ever happens 😏) during this post season..
Such powerful juju
Jake leaving like “yeah maybe i am bad luck”😭
6:20 the silence was LOUD 😭😭

Listening to you screech with glee during Lindors homer live made my day as much as the Mets winning did. Big day! LFGM!
MERRY CLINCHMAS JOLLY 🎉🎉🎉
I was watchin this game before work and I couldn’t believe they came back and won the first game. My mom is a Mets fan so that will brighten her day
Jake is banned from watching a Mets game ever again. Bro is bad luck 😭
GAME OF THE YEAR

LOCK THE DOOR LOCK THE DOOR
Gary thought lindor got under it too at first, he got all of it!
The entire story of this season told in a single game ! Amazing
it’s so awesome to feel represented in media

Lindor is insane. He's so clutch haha. Our MVP.
We gotta give the Mets “spirit bomb” energy every playoff game guys 🙌🏼
No one expected this game to be like this! Insane!
Jolly being depressed up until the moment that the ball was about to cross over the fence made that moment so much better 🤣🤣
I am not even a Mets fan and I am hoping the Mets win the World Series #rallycandle
That game was a classic!
guys, this was GREAT!!!! LGM!!!
"Got under it" - my thoughts exactly. 😅 #MVP #MrSmile #Leader #Lindor
I love this team
This was hype even after watching he game
Braves guy, hate that we wasted game one but that was a great game.
They were definitely using the "playoff" balls in these games. But I love how Jake realized he was the "jinx" and smoothed on out of frame. Lol
lol playoff balls. Can’t just be two good teams having a playoff game. Has to be a conspiracy
