With these Pakistani clips there are always loads of comments from people horrified by the workmanship, the tools, the lack of safety equipment. I find these videos engrossing and fantastic entertainment. These are fellas making do with what they have and they get it working. Great stuff
Making do is one thing. Common Sense it another.
Most of these people lack it!
@@BobSmith-mc7uq so they all had their toes fingers and wits about them. I had a foot injury for a summer and couldn’t wear shoes, all I could wear were jandals. I was up on scaffolds and using chainsaws, operating diggers. You become more aware and more careful.
@@BobSmith-mc7uq I wonder if @dansteel8805 would also buy a truck repaired by these people for the same price he paid for one repaired here and if he would be happy to drive and work with it.
However, I doubt this very much.
The one place you choose to remove the dump bed with a crane is where the overhead wires are running!
Did anyone else notice the crane is still in gear while it is up on the outrigger supports.
No contamination in any of those welds.
20:40 Using a bent shaft to align the two pin bosses
25:37 OMG that rod eye.
Not a grease fitting in sight.
Yea something tells me that truck will be back for repair very soon, or straight to the scrap yard
They actually hit the powerlines with the front of the truck bed at 4:07 Classic. LOL
@@crocodile2006Almost caused another accident trying to fix one Lmao...
The quality of the welding leaves a lot to be desired. Glad that truck is staying over there. I wouldn't want it on our roads with a load.
These guys perform miracles with 7018 rod.
@@n.mcneil4066 YOU are delusional!
Most of their welds are HORRIBLE!
I agree the welds are terrible
You mean they overload trucks in Pakistan??? Noooo. 😂
Blasphemy!
@@FrankHeuvelman😅😅😊😮😮
If they even have one lmao.
It’s great that you where able to straighten and rebuild the old one good on you! But myself I would be comfortable in my skin reusing it I would have replaced it. All that metal is fatigued and I think well compromised there fore I’d scrap it.
They brought it there because they wanted it done cheap
I wonder how many people they kill with some of their shitty workmanship.
Metal fatigue is probably one of the least worries on that truck. Check that cylinder "eye" at 25:40. DOT would have a stroke if they saw that.
Welcome to a world where labor, even skilled tradesmen's labor, is cheap and parts are expensive. In the first world, the parts are not worth five hours of a heavy duty mechanics wages, let alone twenty to thirty, but in Karachi, Pakistan, the math favors repairing the part over replacing it.
And that cylinder eye even has a hole for a grease fitting/@@cojones8518
It was not an "accident due to overload" because such overload was not accidental, it was a typical "damage or failure due to negligence"
But that seems to happen more or less in every country, there is always some trucker who tries to save a trip by loading his truck twice as much.
Yes, it was a good joke, accidentally overloaded. I see so many videos from these countries and I have to say that overloading is standard there. Nobody cares about weight, it will be loaded as long as there is space. And mostly even beyond that.
Especially bad with small trucks, these are often so overloaded that the leaf springs are not only horizontal but even bent upwards. I have no pity for the people there, on the contrary I have pity for the raped machines.
Raped from people who don't have even the slightest understanding of technology or physics.
They even straighten the pin 😀
When can I book my truck in for some work? Lovely job 🫣🫢🫤
Well done 👍👍👍 gentlemen 🔥🔥🔥🔥👍
My favorite is the donkey flat bed vehicle of course, as well as when night falls the men still work. Truly amazing.
1 horsepower
And that donkey also gets scared at night!
You can be sure that the donkey driver is a driver owner that his rig is paid for.
Safety sandals on , welding sunglasses weared and we go straight to the next overloading , no fear !
*_Accidentally_* overloaded, there has to be so much time.
It's reassuring to know that they have learned their lesson and obviously won't overload it again, also that NO grease or paint was wasted in this repair. seriously though you have to admire what they achieve with what they have and be thankful they are not operating on our roads.
*_"and obviously won't overload it again"_*
Hahahahahah!
Nice joke.
I have to remember that one.
That shit is not gonna operate for that long. It'll fail again.
There’s no overloading in Pakistan. There’s heavy trucking and broke equipment.
These guys do a great job with the tools they have. Just goes to show, you don’t have to have a lot of expensive tools.
There's no way I would ever drive one of these trucks after these guys worked on it. They may be doing the best job they can with the tools and equipment they have, but it's scary to think how unsafe it all is.
they make me feel guilty for the equipment I have in my shop at my small ranch. welders hoists plasma cutters etc.
trucks overloaded in this country.??
Never!!!!
Another good video from the “health and safety” flip flop gang😂😂👍🏴🇬🇧
Very nice
Overloaded? Surely not.
I like the battering rams that they have on their trucks, cool.👍👍👍
We don't need no stinkin OSHA rules.
The sandals just get me. Running a torch, welder. Those feet must be like leather.
at 17:01 does he say that he needs a banana?
I guess safty at work is not a thing ....................................
Love the steel toed boots !!!
No eye protection. These men wear sandals while using a cutting torch. Lord have mercy! But i have to hand it to the Pakistan people, they are tuff!
Overloading isn't by accident, you choose to overload...
Come with me, and you’ll see, a world of OSHA violations! ………
in the twilight zone series voice!
That was a great job done. 🎉🎉
How do you gentlemen do it? Welding and cutting and not burning your feet off from the sparks and slag flying around? Awesome work! More people should get such a work ethic....
They sure do keep the track Mechanics busy fixing overload brake downs in Pakistan 😂
Those welder guys have to be colorblind
They really making museum art, nothing technical here
good enough for another 100 million miles.
With all the moving parts in that lift mechanism i didnt see any grease zerks let alone any grease... amazing
Who the fuck needs lubrication? If something falls apart, just take it back to the “workshop” to fix it.
Note to myself: buy a set of these work pyjamas!
They even put pjarmers on there trucks
ALWAYS...😃😃😃
Mesmerising , gifted , hardworking Craftsmen ! Only wished they were in Suffolk as my 2004 Merc CLK would idles them
Hiasan melampau buat berat lori je
I believe that every 3 months they need to repair everything again.
Necessary mother of all inventions
Very nice. Good content. Everything needs to make a contribution. Stay safe! Bless.
Well if they wouldnt load these trucks with 4000. tons maybe the wouldnt break as often Just an observation!!!!
a city of horn blowers. the project was an OSHA nightmare ! never seen a crane's wheels turn when in the air and in use.
OSHA would have a field day, with those businesses.
OSHA would drop dead immediately if they visited this!!
In most (if not in all) 1st world countries the work carried out by guys like this would be deemed unsafe, illegal, and unroadworthy. But this is not a 1st world country. I dont condone nor disagree of how they go about but they are only trying to make ends meet
The standards that apply here have their reasons.
It is mathematically and physically predictable that the "repair" shown here will be neither safe nor permanent.
I want to see you when you get involved in an accident and then it turns out that the person who caused the accident was driving in a box like that.
fantastic watching you guys
amazing skill sir bhut hard work hai
Thanks
Well that takes it all even using a donkey for you're yard you guys are amazing and also very good worker's the technology is 100 year's behind
Good on men still getting the jobs done
Wir bruzzln uns nen Kipper zusammen 😃
Love the donkey cart !
Does anyone know the purpose of the bunch of chains hanging below the front bumper?
Male truck, must have a beard. hahaha
I read somewhere that the more bling a truck has, the more successful the driver appears, and therefore more likely to get hired. I'd appreciate a cultural expert's opinion tho'.
Truck beds and hoists are usually damaged during material hang up or sloping dump areas. Rolling the truck is gonna get exciting…..
how much weight is this truck built to handle. 10-12 tons. ok load 20 tons. no wonder they go broke, but they have to be overweight to make money. but agree that they are damn good considering the tools they have.
Hard working people...However, I don't have much confidence in that repair!!!
Do they get paid by the weight? Is that the reason for overloading their trucks?
This guy with the donkey needs to let the donkey get a rest carrying all those heavy metal parts . And the wagon is about 200 pounds and the weight of rider and metals wow thats messed up.
Never in the course of human history have Alvin and the Chipmunks worked so hard to do such poor repairs.
I'd trust those welds to the end of the street.
(And the crane truck hitting the utility wires AND the building getting the body off was a special extra.)
Urdu always sounds like that when speed up.
Truly shocking
Love how they make do with wot they got
Its hilarious to me that they do all this work in sandals. Seriously.
safety at its absololute worse, quality control at its worse, all the material used has been stressed and damaged it will never be safe to use.
Love to see more of this.
Toată stima pentru măgar. Măgărușul face toți banii.
I wonder what that powder which came off when he was grinding was... nothing good for his health I'm sure..ships aren't know for health benefits...
You have to hand it to these guys, they can fix anything. Not sure if I would want to drive that truck on a job hauling anything.
Sandals while welding?
Definitely there is no quality control here. The welding leaves a lot to be desired.
They should of made a new hoist instead of fixing the fatiged metal, we all know once metal is bent up then straightened its never as strong again.
Again, love those steel toe’d sandals
According to the ILO reports, in Pakistan 2.2 million people die every year due to work-related accidents or illness, more than 270 million workers are injured and an estimated 160 million suffer work-related illness.
On the basis that the population is only 241 million, they must be importing victims.
All they know is overload. Weight, speed, traction, momentum are concepts not yet understood in the third world.
Did you notice that this frequently overloaded truck has a tag axle? The next part to fail will be the front differential.
dThey need to discover Blaster, WD-40 and Kroil. Proper eye protection would not hurt, either. They do know how to make heavy duty but crude clamping devices.
Going by the standard of welding and complete lack of grease used in this rebuild I think that the guarantee on this job would be 5 minutes or 5 miles, whatever comes first.
God help 'em if that truck ever does 5 miles in 5 minutes.
The only one who seemed to know what they were doing was the donkey....
Do you try to build the dumper case as high as possible? holy shit, must be exstremly top heavy loaded
Loaded tandem & semi dump trucks are tipsy at the best of times when box is raised while they are on a side incline.
Not a pair of shoes in the whole town.
How about spending less on decorating and more on maintenance?
Ars longa vita brevis
The Sketchy Brothers Carnival of Dangerous Ideas LLC.
Steel toe sandals?
Imagine if he went thru a DOT station!!!
OSHA, the bane of all things professional, would crap their little lace panties of they were to walk up onto a place like this in the so-called "free" America. Cutting torches while wearing sandals, etc. These people get the job done with very few resources.
Grease gun would go along ways to help!!
There was not one grease fitting on this whole hoist setup.
"This truck was accident"??? What the fuck does that mean?
Hey india a truck lasts longer if it is not overloaded
Poor donkey, he work so hard i'm so sad for him.
So sunglasses work Ok as arc weld visor lenses in Pakki?
And everyone welding is immune to UV melanoma because ? ? ? (because life is cheap?)
I wonder what load the safety jandels will withstand before toes go flying off?
Is there India 🇮🇳 vehicle insurance? I’m not sure of it yet and are they high mechanical paying repair for people? 😂
Never ceases to amaze me how much squatting goes on in India or Pakistani (where ever this is )
That is one of the worst things I've seen them do...that will get someone killed..it will definitely brake again
Crane hit wires above it I seen
Are grease and oil forbidden substances in Pakistan?
