It's true, this game is dying a sad death and pixo and whoever else owns it are killing it and it's loyal fan base.
They were stupid, they should never have made pilots. If they had to do pilots because they wanted wring out every last penny out of the fan base they should have labeled the pilots "co-pilot" and let us remain as pilots. Commander just means we tell them what to do and they go battle. We are the same as an AI program.
They really screwed the game with motherships, drones, pilots, constant bait and switch through rebalances, platinum currency, memorium, microchips, data pads, d-gems, nerfing while concurrently introducing new overpowered bots that can't be killed by the old nerfed bots, upgrade tokens, titans, components instead of letting us make currency to buy bots as we choose at that very moment when we have enough currency, taking away daily supply drops and replacing with supply room "chance " BS rewards,and the list goes on.
Sadly this game will not.
WAR ROBOTS could've been the greatest game ever but they just don't like money or understand business. THEY DON'T LIKE US THE PLAYERS.

Yeah, I remember that and ... how easily you could deal with that compared to the "problems" today. Any damage done to that Griffin then was damage he couldn't lose. There was no healing

But it could have lasted still... It could be amazing, still... If only Pixonic had kept their focus on a happy community with a healthy game that's great for free2play players, too but still rewarding for those who pay... Prices people could afford, more skins and customization rather than pure power to be sold. Things other companies do.
@@ManniGaming 2015 player spent £200 still only at green league which is after gold i think, got a few good robots and i have to go up against new meta dagons that are mk3 and champions when my robots are garbage and when i buy a new one it just gets destroyed by a new meta

I just wish I didn't spend so much money on a game I can't play anymore because I die in 1 minute even after I used a brand new account after the bot part ended I fought real plays in a dester and I saw a ohraochi in my first match with real humans in bronze level 1 someone all ready had a op robot I used a new account to have fun again with out op people and found out even as a new player you see the pay to win robots war robloc is dead and anyone who plays it I feel bad for them.. thanks for reading this.. love the content still just miss the old days...

Peak war robots was before dash bots arrived. You could get good setups like death' button Griffin, ancelot, plasma death button etc by just grinding for few months
that's when I joined
dash bots makes such powercreep
then monthly update come and release robots that isn't possible to get without paying
Ngl I really hated the dash bots and spectre when they were new, but even those were pretty ok to get after they were in the old workshop and in the war robots royale. I think I had more than 4 spectres in components (didn't really try for a second after I got my first so I just had a lot of components) when I quit after they nerfed taran and orkan. I found the time before that the most fun, because most robots had pretty unique abilities and the new releases wern't op compared to dash bots and spectre.
Dash bots were a milestone.
They introduced them in late -summer 2017. That is, exactly 7 years ago. It's when Pixo became too greedy and started with its by now long catalog of practices on how to predate on players wallets. Introducing broken items so as to force buys, was the first step.
@@sebastianreisinger9960 war robots developers never gave us proper time to grind and get these meta bots after every update the previous meta was nerfed and they kept adding new metas in new updates
@@dot-hj6jo that only really started for me around when leech was added. I ran an Orkan Haechi in champion league untill that point, but sadly that was the update when they decided it was too much to have free to play players in champion league.

Thanks so much for assisting us with such a tragic loss of such a beautiful and precious game. I caught on in that era and never really stopped playing, even though breaks and alike every other, I personally passed on to brawl stars as well. Wwr was something else, and the og track is still ringing in my ears.

I really miss the old War Robots. I remember when the Ancilot was the best robot, but it wasn't an invincible robot. Dashers were the beginning of the death of this awesome game.
Manni was part of our childhood growing up, I was in middle school and always would watch his video after school. Glad to say we watched his channel grow to great size. Even as 20yrs old his video have manny nostalgia and good times. ❤😂
Hi Manni , I discovered your channel a week ago , I have been watching as much of your videos as I can , not only to learn , but also cause I like your honesty and good vibe , I have been playing for a week as an F2P player and already have 50 m silver and in gold rank 2 (I am obsessed) , I find your videos about the game not being balanced very funny , but honestly I think the issue is the matching making , not the leagues , because I have a hangar with 4 mechs , 2 grifins 1 lancelot and 1 ao quin all level 6 and when I take a look at the people that I am competing against , they all have level 11+ mechs and weapons (naturally already legendary XD).
I am not complaining , just wanted to share a thought and say that I love your content. Stay AWESOME !

Honestly, I really loved this game untill they started nerfing stuff. I remember when ares came out and everyone hated it because 2 could almost have an infinite shield. I used to run squads with my clan where we would hope to get matched up against the meta abusers so we could lead them into our base, sacrifice all our robots and spawn in 6 hellburners. Those moments were so legendary when they worked XD. Sadly with all the random features giving you more power, there is now no just quickly killing a meta bot.
The Orkan and Taran nerfs were what really killed it for me, after that many players in my clan became inactive and I stopped taking the game seriously.
I have many great memories with this game and the community tho, for wich I am very thankfull. You and Vykker were really awesome.
The nerfing of stuff is really one of the largest problems and the fact of course that it's "necessary" in the first place because of completely broken content being introduced.

Aww, WR was my first PvP game. I didn't grow up with consoles and only played random flash games on the computer but when I got my first smartphone I started playing WR. You were my go-to youtuber throughout my teen years and I remember always being so excited for your new videos. So sad to see how WR got worse and worse.
I permanently deleted my WR account that I had put a lot of time and money into a little over a year ago. I couldn't stand playing such an anti-player game anymore and support greedy devs. So glad I did but I still come back to see your videos every once in a while.

I still remember the days of charging up the slope of Yamantau in my ancillot. Those were the good days man, w'eve all grown older, but good days are still yet to come.
P.s: Manni you don't look that much older, I think the biggest thing that has changed is your camera angle :)
The fact just having a dash ability was broken back then says how much the game has changed
Don't forget the old WR had the greatest dev of all time, who were willing to give us nice rewards. Graphic might be bad but at least no lag at all. Game was simple, upgrade costs were way cheaper and grindable. I miss the old days.
P.S. And Manni, please try to play Mecha Break, this game will be a big hit for you to get more views. Very similar to Armored Core 6 or Armor attack.

Back in 2017, I started playing War Robots, grinding hard to get my favorite robot, Carnage. I still remember the thrill of dominating entire packs of enemies with it. I took a break due to internet issues, but on September 7, 2024, I returned, full of excitement and nostalgia. But I found myself struggling against these new flying robots, I can't even take one down. This isn't the War Robots I used to know. I miss the OG War Robots. No hate, just love for the game.
I think the day war robots decided to add titan killing robots, they started adding a bunch of stupidly overpowered things from that day forward 😢

Yeahhh that was the era man, shortly after that the spectre got released and they nerfed my spectre boy, since then I never clicked onto the war robot anymore. I still remember I spent SOOOOO MUCHHH time in leveling up the 4x shocktrain boy, just sad man.

What a fun couple of years it have been...
I guess i have been playing wr for just short of half my life now and i still vividly remember when the new Quadropeds came out and i thought i would never be able to get them because the fujin cost 2500 Au and the rajin a whopping 5000! (😱).
I remember how i saw the boa and schuetze and was like "who in their right mind buys those, when they could get a vityatz or golem???
I remember when i sold my last golem because i could finally afford an all natasha / leo hangar.
I remember when i saw the supression bots come out and I wanted all of them, a goal i never succeeded at, inbetween all of my brakes from the game and starting over like 5 or 6 times.
The rayker i always saw as the coolest because it was the underdog, supposed to be weaker than the invader and blitz, but your low budget high power series showed that a rayker with 3 supression charges and viper + spark absolutely WHOOPS [ ___ ]! 'Till this day i never got to play one...
My first workshop robot on every account would always be the plasma raven. a living cheat code, with a crazy strong weapon setup that didnt need the workshop.
A workshop that i thought was too expensive and slow when you had six slots from the beginning with 580 comps per day (if only I had known)
I started watching you 6 years ago? so not 1/2 but still a third of my life!
And you are one of the only youtubers that i watch because of their person and not just the content, that I check up on at least once in a while to see whats going on and to stay up to date.
I think there even was a period of 1,5 years where manni gaming was the only channel i was subscribed to...

I know most people are still subbed to you and waiting and hoping you'll play Armor Attack when it's fully ready to go. I still play WR but would easily be convinced to switch over. I still enjoy your Brawl Stars content but I don't know that it's a game that I would play. But that doesn't matter much because I watch Rust videos and I know for a fact I wouldn't play that game.

5:00 A reminder of what they took away from us. The original Trident design looked and sounded much cooler than the current redesign. Not to mention its rockets had a larger splash radius. The only change Trident needed was the option to stop it from unloading completely, which was impossible at the time, like Sting nowadays.
I think Poxonic is finally seeing in how much water they are in cause.

i remember watching the hover clip when i was like six 8:54 now I'm almost 13 it was a great journey with war robots i recently quit after the mauler update but this really was a great game its sad to see it trickle and die like this i really hope they sell the game so it has some chance of surviving its honestly our and their best bet cause either go bankrupt and lose the whole community or they sell it make money off of it and focus on frontiers which isn't so bad yet that way we at least have a chance of seeing this once great game become great again
