I would recommend one of my favourite movies - Farewell My Concubine starring Leslie Cheung, who is my favourite actor. Definitely you need to put it on your watch list.
In my opinion, I thought the best detail is that we can find that no one is really bad. For the Yong Chen, he needs money to live. For Shouyi Lv, as a patient, they needs the cheaper medicine. For the sale representative for a medical company in the China，they need to sell dear medicine to earn back the cost of developing. So, for the all the roles in this movie, they are right and wrong. I think this is the best. It can let us to reflect.

in 我和我的祖国， xu zheng directed the 3rd short story within the movie, it was one of the best (7 in total). The 5th short is quite good as well. Don't really recommend the rest of the shorts tho.

In other words, if drug companys refused to invent new drugs because they cannot get their money back, these patients would get no chance to survive even they have plenty of money.

这个电影也让国家把一些常用抗癌药纳入了医保。前段时间，国家跟医药企业采购（国内和国外的），将心脏支架（基本款）的价格从1万，降到了几百块钱。三赢的局面，企业因为国家大量采购所以能够盈利，国家和普通民众的负担都减轻了。
第一句话并不是，其实在我不是药神之前抗癌药已经纳入医保了。电影最后的介绍也有的。
然而集采心脏支架最近在网上被很多人骂，说是影响自由市场，国内有些人当着韭菜，还跳出来给资本站台的样子真是又好气又好笑。。。有着装不起支架的命，操着上市企业的心，市场自由跟支架自由还用选？股市没了我还在，心脏没了股市上天也不能烧给我啊🙄

其实 电影好不好是其次，关键是 这部电影是根据真人真事 改编的，虽然有些地方改的 主角并不喜欢，
真实的故事 是 主角也是一个这类病的病人，吃药 吃的基本倾家荡产，最后迫不得已 去试试盗版药，结果发现疗效一样的，然后就推荐给了熟悉的病友，因为 吃的人多了，正版药公司不干了。。
一款药的研发 研发费用贵 都清楚，但是把它当商品 想着1年开发2年回本 就很过分。
最讽刺的是这阵子中国集中采购心脏支架，把价格压到以前的1/20，结果又有老百姓跳出来说国家这么做是在影响自由市场，压抑医药企业创新。。。也是挺魔幻的。。。身为被资本割的韭菜站出来给资本站台。。。

你去查查药品在法律中的定义？药品就是商品。你不是内行你不知道，一个新药专利保护期只有20年，20年后你可以随意仿造。这就迫使一个公司要在20年收回成本并且赚取开发下一个药的基础。不是这些公司去研发，说真的，你吃什么药？仿制药都不会有，等死吧。还有一个机会成本的问题，研发一个药一定成功？失败了不就白花10亿起步的研发成本？唯一解决问题就是政府加入，要么补贴，要么你那么良心，国家要不自己来做？绝对亏死。其实就很现实，没钱只能死，真的只有穷病。难道等别人养你？
