Born from the dark minds of Skyrsdag’s founding members Morfran and Erik Lund, Northern Krig has been tearing up the black metal scene since their first demo, “Myrk Blódforn”, in 2021. Their debut studio album, “Concept of a Suicidal Journey”, released on April 27th this year, is a chilling journey into the life of Juna - a tale of violence, abuse, self-harm, and drugs. 🖤💔
The album stays true to the classic Black Metal style of the mid-1990s, enhanced with noise and ultrasonic effects for an uncompromising sound that fully immerses listeners in Juna’s tale of self-destruction. 🎧🌑
Limited to just 300 copies, 50 lucky fans will get their hands on a special Collector’s Edition bundle featuring an original Polaroid photo from Northern Krig’s last tour, alongside other collectibles. 📸🔥
The band features Morfran on vocals, Erik Lund and Jonar Gunnarson on guitars, Mikkel Stein on bass, Hjörtur Anderson on drums (since 2023), and Magnus Jensen also on vocals. 🎤🥁🎸
