I will partially agree - it is the most difficult only for ppl who started within 6 months from now and who did 1 tower before this one. For all other players who managed to obtain the 100000 + pieces that give you shield or make you immortal, this shouldn't be that difficult. ;) They are not immune to dots - just burn / poison / bleed and kill them all. IMO 196 is much harder and on top of everything ...it breaks the freaking game!

Yeah I agree with u Mand, this isn't that difficult, definitely not the most difficult battle ever.
But at the same time, I found 196 very easy compared to 185.
I didn't even have to think strategies for 196, went in with my SF team. With my F5 and F6 uncommon tower equipments..
Will get there today, I'm scared...
Just come to 196 and you will forget 185.
Just when am about to beat 196 the game crashes I don't think is that hard is the crashing that am dealing with

Also since passives don't work, it's better to use kards that have cripple on SP1 or 2( BD erron black, Klassic Jax etc)
I finally beat fatal tower 185 using the strategy you provided starinsky but I only have injustice 2 raiden at fusion 2 so I used mk11 jade her special 2 can create distance, Now I'm stuck on battle 196 which is absolutely ridiculous and annoying black dragon team with reseruction and brutalize and 196 crashes at certain points

It's an obstacle battle. Like many things in NRS method, they make obstacles instead of difficult. GT will be useful against x-rays and MK sub zero sp2.
Your videos on the hardest battles are the most fun to watch from all other creators but they are also the least useful for beginners :D
PS: I'm not even that much of beginner anymore but having Injustice Raiden & SF Scorpion maxed takes longer than a year for sure so far I only got MK11 Raiden & MK11 Kabal maxed

NRS: Hey we want people to be forced to buy epic gear pack for tower. What do you want to do?
*NRS makes super difficult and impossible tower and then make the boss gears not only waste time in boss mode with Scorpion leg hug but makes it so OP that it is impossible to deal with bosses with those gear maxed out and then add impossible modifiers along the way*
Also good luck on Fatal 200, because if you thought Retrofication was bad enough, you also get Sandstorm, literally when released the worst modifier when Elder Wind tower came out

Using Tower Equipment from Klassic and others... my team was COS Liu Kang as lead (I know, his passive doesn't work but he is quick punching and he can snare with Sp1), MK11 Scorpion, SF Scorpion. Just punch as much as you can, use SP1 with Liu Kang and change until you defeat each character.
Fusion of each of them? Maybe F V and above

You can also use Mk11 Raiden combo to push Mk11 Raiden back so he doesn't do his x-ray on you
I just use klassic reptile, terminator and Mk11 jade and reptile has my brutality character , need 5 attempt but finally completed 👍

StarInSky: As long as Noob Saibot is around, any special attacks that are blocked will trigger his clone to give you that hook that adds a death mark to you, so you just need to make sure you don't use a SP until you have connected with the first hit.
NRS has gone out of its way to make some of these battles impossible. They are not challenging and fun, but impossible and frustrating. Instead of enticing people to buy the gear to conquer these battles, I think people would just give up. Adding to that are all the bugs that make the game crash when you are fighting your hearts out against bosses, I think 4.0 is really going to be the beginning of the end of MK Mobile.
You are right. I almost deleted the game after several tries and with all the crashes. The level is not hard, it's just impossible. Retrofication is hard, Dead Zone with stupid modifiers like Blind, Death Mark, Triple damage on unblocked attack, X-ray start and quick build up of power on the opponent is just pure foolishness. Dead Zone should be applied to the opponents too to make it fair. I wouldn't even dream of buying any gear with that level of idiocy on the side of NRS.

If people have terminator dark fate you can dodge the xrays and you can start with mk11 scorpion or mk11 character with a lot health and have mk11 Kabal so stuns won't work
I spend my all 15 trys on that battle. I'm here for some hope.

Always beats me how ridiculously fast MK11 Sub in AI is compared to human playing him, his combo resets are painfully slow, and it sucks I dont have the mantle past F2 😪
I missed out the klassic tower dont have any of the rares in your vid. Awesome strategy n having INj Raiden and MK11 maxed are winning teams. Strikeforce Johnny is my top 3 in game forsure
6:10 you couldn't tag to scorpion because scorpion probably had snare debuff on him which makes him unable to tag in either

Star, kc team with co cassie kills this fight, redcard radian, kill noob first, then subzero, then Raiden. Use weekend dad on sonya, give rusty chainsaw to co cassie, rockin token to Jonny to apply sp1 damage to tagged out Raiden. By thr time he enters the battle he had 1 hp left
Honestly I don't remember any other Fatal tower to have Dead Zone above 180 when the battles get so incredibly hard.. I've not done all fatal towers yet but I've done like at least 6 already..
The problem that I got is power drain also not work on them (mk11 Raiden) and when they defeat your player they get regen.. @Starinsky is right it is the most hardest fight in mk mobile towers ever

I'm not there yet and I don't think I'll beat it without glitches. And from the looks of it power drain is a no go because of Raiden making the team power drain immune. I won't be using any diamonds because all my diamonds are just pathetically weak. What I'm thinking of doing is a spear spam. Putting power generation gear pieces on 3 different Scorpions with the maxed meditation and outworld scourge talents. And they're going to need block breaking gear too
tower 100 on fatal klassic tower told me that i won't be beating this tower no matter how many tries which is sad but i still have a chance to get a epic equipment card by just losing

Dear Starinsky : i wouldnt say i have a better strategy, because i also needed around the same amount of tries like you. Now for my strategy :
NEVER underestimate the lazyness of Netherrealm because they give a sh*t about their players - meaning:
Guardian Terminators passive to avoid X-rays are is still working at this battle, because Netherrealm was to lazy to make an x-Ray-Animation where Guardian Terminator gets it.
In my opinion this works better than your Raiden strategy to ''throw the opponent far away from you'' - because you can do this only from special two ? And its hard to get to special two. I think the special one also throws the opponent away, but Raiden cant keep the distance after that ? I am not sure.
Because the opponents gets x-Ray all the time, a tagged-in-guardian nullifies the x-ray.
Now, i also used Raiden , but different than you. I gave him his hat for more powergeneration and therefore more damage.
I begin with Guardian Terminator , so Raiden can waste his x-ray on him - doing nothing with it. My guardian Terminator has the shields (weekend dad, and varmints hat). As soon as Guardian Terminator tags out, my Diamond Johnny Cage, or Injustice Raiden takes over.
In my talent tree i have deathmark , and weakpoint-attacks (one point on weak point attack is enough for injustice Raiden).
All of my teammates have tower gears also. In terms of gears i had almost the same gears on them as you. Johnny cage needs a lot of power generating gears and unblockable (i used that epic towergear (fusion zero) which gives 150% damage boost and 15% unblockable for all teammates) on Johnny. In that way Johnny can be easily brought into a loop of special ones.
But even with that it needs luck - because they can avoid special attacks completely.
I agree with you: this was the hardest battle of every tower so far. Without varmits hat and weekend-dad , its just impossible to beat this battle (except for Legendas - and i am sure he will also need 100 of tries to get that one run right with silver cards).
The problem with 185 is on more levels:
1) Opponent can avoid special attacks
2) Opponent has insane tower gear (few hits, and the team is dead)
3) Oppoonent has insane unblockable (making even interceptions almost impossible.. you literally have to know, how the AI of the game works , to choose your attacks wisely)
4) Opponents are enraged, therefore get they x-rays and special twos very fast
5) Opponents can heal !!
6) Opponents cant be power drained !
7) Deathzone - so your team doesnt have any passives !
8) Opponents are resurrecting !
9) Opponents get saved by Sub Zero !
10) Opponents can unsnare themselfs!
11) Noob Saibot counterhits you every time with big damage, every time when you specialattack someone !
12) Noob Saibot has more extra lifes every time he makes his special two...
13) Opponents have top notch attacks, defends etc because maxed out diamonds ....
14) Gears cant be destroyed by Tanya, because its a passive of her
and there is much more given by their towergears.... but these 14 points makes it even for big whales almost impossible to beat 185... because even with maxed out tower gears, a lot of these points are still in place (for instance: random avoiding special attacks).
It literally needs a lot of experience and knowledge of veteran players (like us) , AND top notch maxed out diamonds, AND maxed out rare gears from past towers (varmints hat and weekend dead, and the deathmantel) - to even have a ridicilously small chance to beat that battle (keep in mind : 11 tries on that one battle means: its less than 10 % to beat that battle on first try - with top notch gears and Diamonds!)
To all the others : i have to agree with Starinsky : just dont waste your souls on fatal tower. Few, or even a lot of you will think ''i am good .. i can beat it'' ... Its not about : being good. A lot of points i mentioned above are random (like they can avoid special attacks by their gear). If Raiden turns into ''ghost'' every time when you do your special attacks, it doesnt plays any role how ''good'' you are. You need at least the Diamonds and gears of Starinsky (or like a 5 years grinding the hell out of the game, like me) , to have a less than 10 % chance to beat that battle. And even we (like Starinsky and me) think about : ''maybe doesnt playing that tower at all, to safe mental health'' ... It needs so much focusing, the right timing, top notch diamonds, being lucky with the battle (opponents doesnt avoid special attacks) , top notch gears etc - to have the smalles chance to beat that battle and getting 1900 coins as reward !
they are not immune to Dots

Yes the same thing i was wrote in the comments hours ago. Because Netherrealm was to lazy to make a xray-Animation on against Terminator, just for battle 185 .. Thank god we can use the lazyness of Netherrealm to our advantage. Overall Starinsky is right: there is really not many things we can do to beat 185 ... its almost impossible, and its definetely the hardest battle in history of MK mobile - in my opinion. At least 185 isnt crashing the game, as far i can tell. Many (not boss battles) are crashing the game for me.

Hey starinsky in 6:00 there is a switch glitch where it doesn’t let you tag out out all and the timer is infinite the only way to get out of it is let your character die

The fact these bosses even get an extra life to revive that refreshes itself after the attempt ontop of constantly getting 3 Armour plates that replenishes on specials & tag outs.. it’s a joke I don’t know what crack the devs are on I’m not even talking about fatal tower either.
Now I believe 100% because I reached this battle.. for players with golds and low fused rare tower gear is freaking nearly impossible to beat, just got nearly to beat it once and raiden just began to whip my ass out of the battle, ai is 180% nowadays
I won't stress myself over this fatal tower. I'll just reach battle 100 then stop. I'll just be quitting battles just to get the random rewards.
I'll put my focus on the normal tower since it's the one I can handle at the moment. I don't want to bite more than I can chew. The goal is to enjoy the game and not just playing for rewards.

btw, dark fate terminator is still immune to xrays and krushing blows even with deadzone, whether this is a bug or not, who knows, but he absolutely saved me from trying to do more than 12 tries on this battle (because im stupid)
Its technically a bug but not one they can fix, theres no animation files for doing xray to a terminator so they kinda have to make him dodge
@@Rainbow_Sheep yeah they tried to be clever, making him being immune to xray and fatal blows as a mechanic and to save file space

Dots are doing nothing on this MK11 team because of MK11 Raiden.

All you need is a DOT team, and erron blacks gear that drains power on tagg-in. I used Klassssic Lui, MK 11 Scorpion and Klassic Reptile.

Well this battle and accession game mode is just another way to commercialize the game more and more. Every frigging tower has insane boss fights, which makes sense. But fatal towers battles between 185-199 are just too hard, sometimes even harder than boss 200. The gear drop rates are decreasing and the difficulty is increasing every tower. None of the F2P players would have insane maxed out gears even though they grinder previous towers. And moreover what is the point of making the battles this and more difficult just to get 1 extra epic piece after 200 battles. For F2P players, dark mantle which everyone is using would not be maxed out.
Thank God I give up on this nightmare game.

I think NRS has forgotten two things based off this fight. 1: the game is supposed to be fun. 2: the whole point in collecting characters ARE their unique abilities that make them fun to play.

this mk11 scorpion is fusion X but its level is 50. forgot to level it at 60
