- Do This Trick to Get Easy Shiny pokemon in Scarlet & Violet. Alot of people want to know how to get early shiny pokemon in scarlet & violet. This guide will help you get your shiny pokemon fast in pokemon scarlet and violet. This new trick is called the Shiny Picnic Reset Method. This uses the shiny mass outbreak method and adds a new shiny pokemon trick to it. Hopefully this helps you to get shiny pokemon easy and fast in pokemon scarlet and violet.
This is also known as the Picnic Purge Shiny Hunting Method.

Step 2. Go to pokemon unaffected by false swipe
I got unlucky with that one!!!
If you have the ability scrappy you can hit ghosts with normal moves and false swipe in this case

I know you explained this before, but this was the best explanation to how to do this, period! I hope that they don't patch the picnic reset out though... (It seems like something they'd do like when we had the early methods in Legends Arceus)
Trust me, they got a lot of other things they’ll need to patch before they even consider patching this
I dont think they would patch this at all its not really an exploit or glitch this at least in my view seems to be a very legit way to shiny hunt
True there’s a lot of patching too be done but what if fixing the major brokenness in the world might patch the picnic too I hope not.
I sure hope not, they didn’t patch any of the shiny hunting glitches in Sword & Shield.
They will patch it. They don't like people finding shinies easily, even if it doesn't affect anyone, just like how they "updated" the outbreak shiny method for Arceus into the "massive mass outbreak" and you couldn't restart to re-roll for a shiny of that spawn. I honestly hate they have to be unfair to those who have shitty shiny luck.

took me like 2 hours because I accidentally messed up my first try. You can't use picnic near a titan, beat the titan first. But once I defeated the titan, I got a shiny bramblin in less than an hour. Another tip I want people to be aware of is when using the R button for auto battles, your pokemon will NOT attack shiny pokemon even if you highlight that pokemon and click R, very helpful for shiny with similar color pallets to their original.
That's a relief! I was really anxious about missing one.

He also blessed me with the courage to allow him to speak through me in order to reach out to you and plead that you will get back in touch with him and quit this nonsensical heresy cursed upon you by the devil.
My biggest fear is that gamefreak will do nothing to fix all of the performance issues of the game, but instead release a patch to prevent this picnic tactic from working. Here’s to hoping that isn’t the case.

shiny magnemite was so hard to see for me. Was a large open area so they spawned further away and its hard to tell cause its not a huge colour change.

I lost count with counting, but I know I got a little over 30 auto-battling Rufflet in an outbreak and did I think about 8 times opening and closing the picknick mode and I finally got a shiny Rufflet 😁with no sandwich boosts or shiny charm 😅I almost missed it considering how small they are but thank you so much!

Tried this on some Swablu. Thought it was funny that after 28 resets I seen a blue dot come up to me that looked odd. It got me a shiny Rockruff xD

I'm going to test this. I have extremely bad luck with shinys. I have been trying to hatch a shiny vupix since I finished sword and nothing. I have only encountered 4 shiny pokemon in my life (came out the same year is red and blue) a swellow in ultrasun, a beedrill in lets go, a froslass in sword crown tundra and a random squirrel(forgot its name) in violet.

Is the thing of killing 2 times 30 pokemons a chain? And can it be broken by like killing a diferent one or capturing a different one?
So I decided to try this out and boy did it get results. Took some time to KO 60 and I didn't count the number of picnic resets but I got myself a shiny Finizen. Thank you for that.
How did you do it for Finizen, since it;s in the sea?
@@ThatHollowGuy Simple, the outbreak was in the sea yes, but also close to a beach. So I've been doing my picnic resets on the beach and I got it down the line.

Quick question, when you do the picnic reset, are you turning off and on the game back to your save point, or are you just opening a picnic and then closing it continuously?
just open picnic and close, you only need to reset the game if the outbreak somehow is over. Also you should turn off auto save when doing this.

Could anyone elaborate on which actions will lead your 60 chain to reset? Flying away, leaving the area, closing the game and so on? What causes the chain to break and what doesn't?
Only killing the outbreak resets it. Also all outbreaks reset EACH DAY. So you have limited time
@@DrowningB Couldn't you technically restart from your save after the 60 chain if so?- since assuming the picnic resets spawn randomly generated pokemon instead of preset ones

@@Illuzix yes, you can. there is almost no reason to do so unless you mess up though because as long as you don't kill more than 80+ pokemon, the outbreak will not despawn (unless your clock hits 12:00am), so you can picnic reset infinitely in the time span
@@DrowningB If my Pokemon KOs a different one, does it reset my thing ? Like I was at 34 Pokemon and my lovely carnaval duck went on a rampage and beat a Pokemon who wasn't from the outbreak. I haven't read anything about chaining but I am still wondering if there's a chain system or not
Is there anything you can do to improve the spawning speed? I find that im having to walk around as the pokemon are so spread out and it takes ages for the whole breakout to spawn
same to me, every time i reset i only see 5-7 of the same pokemon in these mass events
Knock out a few of them, like 3-5, then walk around a little bit, you'll see a dozen more have spawned. :)
Be careful using this method with mass outbreaks though, mass outbreaks end after you knock out and/or capture about 100 pokemon. So knocking some out in order to have more spawn is a double edged sword in this case I guess.
However, when shiny hunting (not during mass outbreaks), knocking out as many pokemons of the species you're looking for as possible will greatly help in spawning a shiny! Like A LOT (rather than just walking around wherever said species is present).

Something to add for the neurodivergent like me:
Picnics do NOT replenish the numbers of the outbreak. Dont keep knocking out pokemon after your picnic. The picnic itself rerolls the pokemon so just keep dropping picnics and looking around.

So without any buffs this method gives a 1/69 (nice)chance of getting a shiny, and with shiny charm and max buffs this is a 1/26 chance for a shiny.

I was able to get one shiny male clawitzer after knocking out 60 pokemon. Then killed 5 more. Set up a picnic, went back and found a female shiny clawirzer. You can definitely try for multiple in on outbreak!
I reccomend you get a Flamigo with scrappy, this can help with the ghost types

Can confirm this still works as of 12/18! Just got a shiny Hoppip using this method. I do have the shiny charm, and it took me probably 50-70 resets, but it works

No, the shiny odds only apply to the outbreak. But you can still picnic reset any mons, just lower odds and random spawns.

Omg Tysm. Just got a shiny tatsugiri from the new event!! Also I recommend buying quick balls, cuz not every Pokémon can be affected by false swipe (like your drifblim)
I caught a shiny Gyarados today using this method. If you select the picnic method on water you will get transported directly to the land and then you can swim towards the outbreak area again spawining newer ones in the process.
