Salam Sheikh. I have a question. I have knowledge on musical modes and scales. the melody you used can also be called nahawand because you are not using the 1st 3 notes of the scale. the last 5 notes are the same for bayati and nahawand. You started the melody on note 8 and go down until note 4 only. Unless later on you go to a lower tone going up to notes 1-3 of the bayati scale, then it can be recognized as such. The difference between bayati and nahawand is only the second note of the scale. But because you didnt, this is like a hybrid melody of bayati and nahawand. forgive me if I am confusing you but I hope you understand what I am saying and hope to get a respond from you. Jazakallah :)
Sheikh can you please use a different student for each video instead of a girl? Preferably a student who is a male. This lady’s voice is very deep and is not a good way to learn.
Her recitation was absolutely amazing but I also wish it was recited by man. I feel like it would’ve sounded way better.
