Oooooooooh my goodness gracious!!!! These scallops look incredible, brothers! From the garlic butter to the ultimate sear on the outside!!!!! We are both drooling! You guys rocked the flavour description, we feel like we were tasting them along with you!!🤤🥰🔥👏
We literally have run out of room on our patio for any more cook tops. We have a smoker and grill on either end of our patio. We can't get a Blackstone, but I feel like of I put my cast iron griddle on the grill I can get "almost" the same effect here and do some scallops on the grill. On another note, who gives a thumbs down on any video? Obviously, a person who has never invested the time or energy of what it takes to make even a mediocre video. So several thumbs up from me. Love your videos guys, keep up the fantastic work!!! I appreciate them.
Yes! If you can get the grill hot enough, you should totally be able to do that with the griddle! And thank you so much for the kind words, honestly, I’ve given feedback to RUclips (as a creator) about the thumbs down. Neither Facebook or Instagram have dislike buttons, and it’s always discouraging. We get it that it’s not for everyone, but we simply move on if we don’t like something. You are awesome! Take care!🤗🤗
Tiny, small, medium, or large, I love me some scallops. I just made some not too long ago with a lemon garlic butter sauce, smashed gold potatoes with roasted shallots and asparagus. I used my cast iron to get the nice crust on there, but man would the Blackstone work wonders! I am thinking next time with some Garlic Herb Linguine! They looks delicious bros: truly gave my salivary glands a workout. Griddle on!
Haha! That sounds amazing man! We for sure love both the idea of potatoes, as well as linguini to complement these! Thank you so much for the ideas!🤙🤙🔥🔥
Great sear on those scallops❣️ I didn't like scallops until I had some that were cooked properly. I picture them served with roasted yukon gold potatoes and bacon wrapped asparagus... I'm hungry🤣
Haha!! Yes! That sounds amazing - some of the smaller ones were slightly over cooked and I could see that to much would actually make them rubbery and tart. Would love to have potatoes and bacon with these!🤙🤙
I don't even know when I had scallops last, but I now know I will have them in the near future! Great cook guys, I could have eaten that entire plate :) they look that good! Thanks for yet another great item to cook on the Blackstone! Hope your week is going Great!
Made these tonight. Absolutely perfect! Had mine with a squirt of lemon and some copycat cheddar bay biscuits over cheesy grits. Thanks guys - love the channel, especially since you're right here near me. I'm in Orlando!!
@@waltwins Waterford Lakes area near Curry Ford & Alafaya. I've used so many of your cooks on my own BS - excellent & ususally pretty easy, and I can get the same groceries from Publix. If you guys ever do a live event anywhere in town, please post it somewhere so I can attend - would love to meet you guys and see some of these cooks live! Great energy and a few good laughs along the way. Kinda reminds me of the old Cajun chef show with Justin Wilson.
I did scallops tonight like you guys did. Yes two minutes per side. Pulled them off and covered then with foil to keep warm. In the mean time (or prior to cooking the scallops) I cooked a pot of linguini. Then I sautéed garlic, scallions and thyme in olive oil and butter added a cup of wine. Reduced. Added chicken broth then lemon zest, lemon juice and basil. Put the pasta in the pan and topped with scallops. Great dinner. You guys really inspire me and love your channel.
Stop!! That’s incredible! Honestly, when we couldn’t decide what do do as a side, we just thought we’d do a quick “how to” vid - I’m saving your comment for future cook with scallops - sounds amazing!! Thank you for the amazing suggestion!!🔥🔥🤙🤙
WALTWINS I will give credit where credit is due. Got this recipe off of Food Network. It’s called Seared Sea Scallops with Linguini in a Herb and Wine Sauce. But works well with the Blackstone, just some minor modifications.
Guys, I just found your channel, and I love it! Love the cooking and especially love the positivity and good vibes! 😀 This was the first one of your recipes that I tried, and man, so easy and good! Keep up the good work!

Yuuuummmm. Thanks for the guidance as this will be my only my 3rd time using the blackstone...and the first cooking scallops! I'm making a surf and turf this weekend. My sides for the scallops and steaks will be a zesty salad and grilled, garlic rubbed baguettes...just drooling thinking about all this ❤
Oh yes, this sounds incredible!! We had so much fun with this cook! Some of the scallops were a bit chewy, so watch them, but otherwise it’s gonna be a hit!! Let us know how it turns out!!💙💙
Awesome. Those are definitely on the to-do list. I have done shrimp a few times and it is just as easy and a crowd pleaser, by crowd I mean family. lol

Brett did a lot of hard work on this one. I was very impressed by everything he did. Could not believe how he was handle it all...LOL! Made a great supervisor on this one :) Great cook guys. You made these look really good. The presentation looked very nice as well. What would you makes with these? What is a good side dish with something like this? Keep up the good work. Hope you guys had a good weekend. Enjoy the rest of your night. God bless!
Great video as usual! I basically bought a Blackstone because my family love scallops so much. I couldn't find a cast iron skillet large enough to accommodate the larger size scallops we enjoy because the temp decreases so much when we flip them. On a large skillet, the initial sear was great but when we flipped them it didn't have the high temp necessary to sear the other side. So on the Blackstone, I kind of cheat because I sous vide the scallops first, then just sear them. I get the whole surface hot, then when I turn them over, I make sure to use a different part of the surface to get that nice sear on both sides. Finish with a white wine, butter, and lemon juice reduction...wow. I'm always learning from you guys and just thought I would share my method. Thanks for the video!
Wow, so amazing! Honestly, we were happy with how they turned out, but I was expecting a “better” sear - will definitely use your method, thank you so much for sharing!!🤙🤙
Oh you have to tell me what you served with the scallops. They look good. So if I ever move to Florida is there a house the neighborhood so I can invite myself over for dinner? I will take turns cooking. Or I can do the dishes...
Haha!! We actually just made these for the video, but we’ve discussed serving over rice or with potatoes and steamed veggies - and bacon would always go nicely with these!!🤗🤗
Hoping this wasn't asked already, but my GF love these and want to do them for Valentine's Day, my question is can you add the butter and garlic just before you put them on or do you have to add it after the first flip? Love the channel, has helped me so much since I got my blackstone for x-mas
Thank you so much for watching and that’s a great question! This is the way we watched it done - we saw how Sam the Cooking Guy did his - not sure the reason except that the butter may speed the cooking process, making them burn and possibly chewy? Hope this helps somewhat! Take care and GRIDDLE ON!🤙🤙🔥🔥
