Well there you go. Thank you for letting me know you are also having those issues mate. Yea my brother in law gets the same odd kick here and there also. These other two software options are finally a solution.
@@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs Well! Thanks again. Moved on to simhub.... Yes, so much better. The tuning options are much better and allow for a more precise experience. With SRS touch down effect was really whenever it wanted. With sim hub, it nails it every time. There is too much smoothing by default for my taste, but once you start getting into the settings, this software really shines. Not going back to SRS.
Well, I'm still here and FlyPT Mover is still alive and will get a bunch of updates next year. For now 3.7 is beta due to many changes but soon I will have 4.0 with a completelly new UI and special features. I had to stop some time unfortunatelly, but I'm now back and will keep it updated and for free, at least in 3.7.
Brother.....:) thanks mate, It is a lot of work but so important to share this with the world, so much cool stuff going on at the moment in the sim world. I cant wait for you to have a go in my rig again with FS2024, its insane how goo the visuals are, almost as good as what you see on a daily basis lol.
I think youre onto something about hard kicks with ssw. It is frameraye related. Ssw is not good. The wobbles are bad. The Auto FPS update is a better way to get 40fps.
fantastic video. I use srs and dofreality h6. I have not tried other software and like you said srs seems to missing something, fine tuning for turbulence and ground roll out bounce ect. I'm not able to get the inteli sensor for motion compensation like you have. it has witmotion greyed out and can't change it. under health check Mine looks the same as yours. I did try the witmotion but it had no effect. I'm not getting the motion option or the flight option. I'm not sure if its detected my dofreality h6. I even paid for a license and it still doesn't show up.
Awesome mate and thank you for the comments. Glad to hear its not just me having issues, a few others have also commented. Ok, have you checked to make sure that all the various options are installed like, OpenVR, OpenXR and so forth under the 'Setup' 'Health Check' section? Happy for you to filck me an email and I will see what I can do to get you up and running mate.
Wow! I learned a lot from this one. Are you saying that you don't need a WitMotion sensor in SRS to get motion compensation anymore? Is Intellicomp as good as the Witmotion? And I didn't know that flight sim support for Simhub dropped! That's insanely exciting! What's the motion compensation like in Simhub? How does it compare to Intellicomp and WitMotion? I've got a DOF Reality H2 and I'm going to give Simhub a try.
Awesome mate and thank you so much for the amazing comments :) Yes you can do away with the WitMotion Sensor. You will simply need to download and install the OpenXR Motion Compensation, with this you enable the tracker in the headset, looks very similar to what you would have seen and configured with the WitMotion, you see the arrows and need to align them. There is pretty good instructions on the SimHub side of things and DR Sim Manager on how to do all of this, if you get stuck though let me know. I might even do a video on setting it all up. As for how well it works, Its perfect, exactly the same if not better, I used to get some swimming with the WitMotion that I struggled to tune out, with the virtual tracker I get none of that.
Great video, I took have started to use Simhub for MSFS, it works great with my DOF H3 and HF3 seat pad. I noticed that you have Roll and Roll rate both on together, is there a reason for that? How on earth have you managed to get 75fps in flight Sims, I also have a 4090 but I've not managed to get that high.
Awesome mate and thank you for commenting, Yea SimHub is pretty amazing. Ummmm, in regard to roll and roll rate, I have to be honest and say that I just left that as default. I will have a play with those settings and turn roll rate off and see what changes, have you noticed much? Ok, if you have a 4090 and, Quest3 you need to watch this video :) ruclips.net/video/Yu3Plsd2XEg/видео.html
Flypt is still alive and new beta dropping regular. Srs is good for racing, not flying. Drsm is coming along nicely. Simhub doesn't handle 6dof but there are plugins for flypt
Ok roger that. I was only going off what I had read on the internet and a few videos online. thanks for the clarification for anyone watching. I will update the description with this point.
M4S is a 32 bit controller better than thanos. More resolution. Better safety parameters for start than thanos. Other feature in DRSM is a volumetric xalculation for 6DOF rigs to prevent frame collisions. You need to build a 6DOF stewart platform. Its so much more intense than 4 post
Unfortunately I still have the old sfb controllers and no tanos controllers. I'm currently using the simfeedback software. Does simhub also work with the old sfb controllers?
Great questions mate and I honestly do not know. Are you on the SimHub Discord at all? If not I would suggest you jump on there and also the DR Sim Manager DIscord, both of these might be a great option for you if the software will run your system. Epic mate and its going to be a very exciting time for you :) My pick hands down for quality, price and amazing value is the Eracing Labs motion system. If you can handle a little DIY as you need to assemble and setup the the controllers, you are good to go. Its honestly not hard. The actuators come pre-assembled and its really just bolting things together and following some basic instructions. You can watch this video on my build as I cover in small detail the process at around the 10:50 mark : ruclips.net/video/qorgzErGt7o/видео.html There are systems way more expensive than this, like 5 times as expensive like Dbox and alike. I have used Dbox, and another motion system that was worth over 30K, and I have to be absolutely honest, Eracing Labs, using either the SimHub or DR Manager Software is just as good. My brother in law has the Eracing system, plus we are going to be building and Eracing system for Andrew my Airforce mate. I think that speaks volumes. Thanks for watching and if you have any other questions just ask :)
MSFS with SRS alway gave me those random kicks. I did tell them along time ago, but crickets.
Well there you go. Thank you for letting me know you are also having those issues mate. Yea my brother in law gets the same odd kick here and there also. These other two software options are finally a solution.
@@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs What is also missing from SRS is the ability to have different ground/air heave data. Eg. In SimHub Suspension/Heave.
@@seattime4075 Yea agree on that, its really makes a big difference.
Thanks for the video. Same in SRS, kicks when dropping frames. Simhub seems like a good alternative. The support at SRS is not great
Welcome mate. Yea SRS is just not as smooth at the moment.
