Starkiller Studios Although its no longer exactly canon. I think so too. Even in the Zero Year story arc the Red Hood gang leader is always smiling and causing chaos much like Joker would. And just most encounters with Joker end he too is seemingly dead but never is it revealed who he was.
Not a fan of Immortal Joker. The thing that made Joker so scary for me is the idea that anyone could be the Joker. My neighbor, my Professor, a complete stranger, my girlfriend, my family, or even me. ANYONE could be the Joker from just one bad day. THAT'S what makes him so scary. The fact that with just one bad day even I could go insane. .. But, nope, just throw all that physiological torture and evaluation out the window. Well this is a different universe of Batman so you don't need to be too sad bout it. I prefer the Killing Joke also. Btw, they should have the animated film of the Killing Joke on July 26 2016 C:

In other words this shouldn't have any connections to the old comics. It would be best to look up what DC said themselves. They do alot of crazy stuff so I'm not sure what is and isn't canon off the top of my head. I know for a fact that the Killing Joke is canon so if they did make this canon I'm not at all sure how this would fit together if it all took place in the same universe. DC is confusing man lol the New 52 though was meant to be a reboot of Batman so maybe it's canon in the new universe.
Casshern Even more confusing is that Alan Moore said The Killing Joke wasn't canon for years and that DC just made it canon because it was so well known. So things that aren't canon can just be canon if DC says so one day.... It's super weird like that. And confusing if you're not an expert at comics.

That's the point of the story, everyone likes to talk about multiple choice origins,so joker gave Mareen and the inmates these origins for them to decide if there true or not. These are all just stories joker is using to set up the joke
Hiding the Joker's origin gives him a certain mystique, but he needs to just be a human, maybe a fantastically intelligent human, but still a human, either that, or a virus that infects people's brains.
Comicstorian hell yea, i love ghost rider, he's underrated and as a matter in fact ges my favorite hero, I just like the idea of a flaming skull bringing justice great vid by the way, I freaking love the joker, I mean who doesn't haha haha haha haha haha haha haha hahahahah
I think that this origin is weird. To me, joker works better as a man who has completely lost his grip on sanity, who does what he does for unknown reasons. This ghost story stuff is a cool concept, but I prefer joker to be mysterious, and human.
I think this is my favourite of your videos. I love the atmosphere your able to convey through your voice. I hope there's more like this to come. Also, do you think you could ever do something on the Umbrella Academy?
the real origin? The joker is just an internet troll who likes fuckign with people. End of story. Or should i say, End or game? HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAA1!!111!!!!!One!!
The greatest villain of them all. Batman will never truly defeat The Joker. He will always be back no matter what because he is the avatar of chaos and madness.
Why dose the new 52 have to do this to the origins of the superheroes or villeins of the DC universe this origin wasn't even creepy and the joker is one of the creepiest villeins in the DC universe I bet I can watch this at 12 o'clock and not be scared, my little brother can tell scary stores that are way creeper than this and he's 4
Penny Rogers I prefer the Heath Ledger origins too but the new 52 Joker is really creepy overall. Read Death of the Family if you haven't, it's awesome and there was one specific line that literally gave me goosebumps: Gordon says to a friend of his that he has hidden the last pack of ciggarettes somewhere in his house were noone would fond them. In the next scene Joker breaks into the GCPD and says: *Oh Jimbo, I'm just trying to get a laugh but you HIDE things.. like that last pack of smoles where noone would find them, on the ironing under your bed, I like to lay there some times and here you sleep... the sad things you say... It makes me want to lift my hands up and! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA(he breaks an officer's neck)*
+Comicstorian can you tell me what is New 52,im 12 and im from phillipines so comic books arent really big heres and i dont really see any comic books around here
DetectiveWayne but how the story is laid out, is good. But if these were true then it would be bad. to sum it up, if the quality of the story is determined of how the origin is real or not. if its real; its bad, if its not; its good
I love it. The idea of making him a embodiment of a kinda group hallucination makes him even more creepy than ever. (sorry 'bout my english, sometimezes it impossibru to write down my thoughts)
The joker I knew have been long gone for quite some time. These guys are kind of trying a little to hard to make the joker creepy. It works in the levels of him being a sadistic monster, but I have to ask a question. Why would he bother putting time and effort into doing this? It doesn't really hurt Batman in any way.
insane2201 he's evil and his point is to prove anyone can become that way while Batman's the ultimate goal it dose not stop him from having side project plus was he really there at all
He was hiding in Arkham and discovered one of the doctors wanted to find out his origin,so he set up this whole thing to fuck with her and the reader, judging by this comment section it worked
The reason I was a Joker fan because the Joker felt like he was sort of relatable. He's not some sort of superhuman or immortal, he was just a mortal, like batman. I prefer Alan Moore's interpretation of the Joker orgin better
This is why the joker is in a class of his own. In comics there are superheroes and there are supervillains. And then, there's the joker.
Auron1Roxas2 who is the joker?
Vader’s comics are awesome aswell
the joker has been reading too many creepypastas
Or IT
I'm pretty sure in the DC universe, he is one of those creepypastas.
He is probably inspiration to some of them.
He writes most of the popular creepypastas on Gotham.
Ho Le Fuk He IS a creepy pasta.

Watching at 1am!
ConnorTCmT Not a good idea....
Me too
Me 3
me 4
and me
epic you voiced that to perfection man had me on my the edge of my chair
That's okay... I didn't need to sleep tonight anyways
I actually did listen to his right before going to bed... thanks, Benny. You are the man.
Joker is the leader of the creepy clowns
Best part is that you say all of this creepy even the copy right part
waiiit.... cassady?....cleotus cassady? carnage? ......
LOOMINATIE CONFIERMED!
The laugh you did to imitate the Joker actually sent chills down my spine
Wtf I'm going to bed!
Why
T.W.O Gaming then dont watch it
The Joker's origin just keeps getting more involved and fascinating. :)
If you try to understand the Joker...
You will be the punchline! hahahahahahahahaha
I like the whole thing and i like how hes putting ever more work to the reading
where can i find the back ground music?
Just wanted to say excellent job with the narration.
That was pretty dark, but I know who the Joker really is ... Donald Trump.
The hair gives it away
Joker is way better than Trump. Don't insult the Joker with comparing him to that peasant.
Lol
+Nyleve A. Vanger again lol
grow up people
This connects well with the multijoker thing as well as the lazurus pit immoral joker thing.
So who's the joker
Jack naiper
+Jot Bean joe chill
I feel like u can make sense of it that there's always a Joker waiting. Someone like it some way, a serial killer, a monster, a crazy clown.
+Gabe Newell that would be impossible Joe Chill is in prison
Master Kief I heard it was the God of laughter
Loved the music and the laugh man. That was a cool episode.
Hey Benny could you do a Ghost Rider vid?
potatopieish We're working on it, a Know Your UNiverse about all of them
Comicstorian hell yea, i love ghost rider, he's underrated and as a matter in fact ges my favorite hero, I just like the idea of a flaming skull bringing justice great vid by the way, I freaking love the joker, I mean who doesn't haha haha haha haha haha haha haha hahahahah
Holy crap dude it's 11:31 pm and I can't sleep anymore , your gifted in telling stories 👌🏻
I think that this origin is weird. To me, joker works better as a man who has completely lost his grip on sanity, who does what he does for unknown reasons. This ghost story stuff is a cool concept, but I prefer joker to be mysterious, and human.
The Horrid Atom he is mysterious and human in this...
paul johnson II a human that can appear, and reappear at will? And apperently has been around almost as long as Gotham has? Boom, ya got me.
The Horrid Atom its all a trick he cant do any of those things.
paul johnson II But he did..... have you even read the endgame storyline?
The Horrid Atom no he didn't you just thought he did, the ending was ambiguous for a reason.
love the voices man, really enjoying your videos
I'm gonna sleep after watching this
Thank God for this channel . .Since there are no comic books store near here . .Salute from Philippines
So why hasn`t the joker joined the yellow lanturns?
Cause the yellow rings choose their next host or maybe Sinestro thinks he is too fearful
I don't think that even the yellow laterns want the joker in their ranks, the Joker might kill all the yellow laterns if becomes a yellow latern
+Cameron Perez Because Batman is scarier. Even the rings think so.
they (writers) considered him for a deputy in darkest night, but decided on scarecrow
I think this is my favourite of your videos. I love the atmosphere your able to convey through your voice. I hope there's more like this to come. Also, do you think you could ever do something on the Umbrella Academy?
Darkkmos That something to do with Resident Evil?
joker is mad and very awesome villan throughout the dc and marvel
vinayak basu marvel?
shakeel uddin The Joker is secretly Deadpool.
Actually not because deapool is an anti hero
Of all the stories of joker, I enjoy this one the most
the real origin? The joker is just an internet troll who likes fuckign with people. End of story. Or should i say, End or game? HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAA1!!111!!!!!One!!
The greatest villain of them all. Batman will never truly defeat The Joker. He will always be back no matter what because he is the avatar of chaos and madness.
And also probably immortal
MrEvilDucky after all... laughter is the best medicine
+Roberto Rosas Jr. I hate you omfg..... wurst pun ever
Omnom hahaha I was drunk when I commented. Oh drunk me.
+thriddoctor But no matter how hard Joker tries, Batman always kicks him back to Arkham. Granted, he gets out, but does Joker ever truly win?
Well I didn't want to sleep tonight anyway, great video as always
Why dose the new 52 have to do this to the origins of the superheroes or villeins of the DC universe this origin wasn't even creepy and the joker is one of the creepiest villeins in the DC universe I bet I can watch this at 12 o'clock and not be scared, my little brother can tell scary stores that are way creeper than this and he's 4
Penny Rogers He could probably spell better than you, too.
***** That burn was not necessary.
Taimir Gore but oh so hylarious.
Nnu
This is one of my favorite joker stories
Are these stories new 52?
+Eat Food Gaming Yes
Comicstorian Thanks
+Comicstorian can you tell me what is New 52,im 12 and im from phillipines so comic books arent really big heres and i dont really see any comic books around here
+Zara Grace Ting Ho in 2011 DC rebooted their universe calling it "The new 52"
it's just the most current DC reboot
Flash-Point was in 2011, wasn't it?
awesome channel dude. I've been wanting to get into comics for a while
If these are the real origins of Joker… then fuck He is ruined
Nah, it's not true
Twarrior Stroman glad to hear that
That's a lie they want you to think that I know the truth he told me HAHAHAHAHAH
just kidding if one of these was the origins it would be weird
DetectiveWayne but how the story is laid out, is good. But if these were true then it would be bad. to sum it up, if the quality of the story is determined of how the origin is real or not. if its real; its bad, if its not; its good
Van 'El The Joker quite simply, does not have an origin. That's part of who he is. It makes him far creepier that we don't know.
dude you're talented with your voice and your songs @_@
This is new 52 right?
Starkiller Studios Yes
Comicstorian do you are the best narrator
Caleb Johnson couldn't agree more... Comicstorian you rock, bro!
yes
I love it. The idea of making him a embodiment of a kinda group hallucination makes him even more creepy than ever. (sorry 'bout my english, sometimezes it impossibru to write down my thoughts)
what's the song
This video was awesome! The music was a nice touch
Oh my god . This was so good. I haven't been more entertained in a while.
Sorry, but Joker being some supernatural entity is downright horrible. I mean, he's never really had a clear origin, but this one is terrible.
joker being some mystery immortal creature that became obsessed with batman would be the best and explains how he is never fully defeated.
I dont like it
You're not alone. They tried a bit too, hard on making an already creepy character creepier.
Same here. This is ridiculous...
Franco Carranza same, i just watch his vids since he saves me a bunch on comics
The reason I was a Joker fan because the Joker felt like he was sort of relatable. He's not some sort of superhuman or immortal, he was just a mortal, like batman. I prefer Alan Moore's interpretation of the Joker orgin better
+TooManyNamesTaken _ god batman does, doesn't he?
dude you have to tell me where you got the joker pick on the thumbnail, it's amazing, keep the origins story coming man, i learn a lot
Unphased 0/10- not Sp00ky
Man,this is sick, this is twisted, but I like it...it gives me chills.I never get scared, but you,you made me not want to go to sleep.
I loved the horror themed representation !!! Please do more of these :)
