Trucking depends on a multitude of factors! location, home life, experience, age, health etc… I know some truckers who are owner operators and are very well off! come retirement they’re gonna have a great little nest egg because they love what they do and they worked their asses off. If trucking sucks for you it’s probably because you can’t form a proper sentence’ google “Spelling” start there and worry about driving later.

Oh 100%. I was a pickoff/sorter at UPS for 15+ years. You're not going to hand place every box, its just not happening. It looks bad in public but most people dont understand that the product is well protected in the package.
If anything, most damages are caused by company and management processes, for example, managment keeping a conveyor belt on while the weight of 500+ packages smash into a giant clump. If you ever wonder why your box looks like someone played a game of kick soccer with it, thats why.

...but what you all don't understand is that truck does not require much training to drive and it is not your standard step up van that you see rolling through your neighborhood. That is a box truck with air lock brakes with a lift gate that most likely does not work because fed ex struggles to maintain there equipment as they are contractors. That's probably that gentlemans 100th set of 50-100 package stops and just did not think what was in the box was fragile like clothing or shoes and decided to protect his body by not jumping in and out of the back to stage the packages..truly bad timing for Dana to see this happening lol
