I had to deal with a very toxic step mother growing up which has always made me feel like I am never enough, not pretty enough, not skinny enough and just not good enough and a step father who did unforgivable things to me. I became a people pleaser when I was around 10 and my parents separated and both mum and dads family would tell me how sad my mum or dad was and when my dad took me my mums family would say can't you see how much your hurting your mother and my dads side would say that my dad was so sad without us kids which is why I felt I should stay with him. The worst has been around for awhile that I function like the worst but upstream at least. The worst has been around for awhile that I function like the worst but upstream at least.
