- Lexus RX 450h acceleration 0-100 km/h and 0-200 km/h:
Lexus RX 450h hybrid, 3.5l V6, 220kw (295hp) 2013 acceleration 0-100 km/h, 0-60 mph and 0-200 km/h. Three people in the car so quite heavy. 1st try with TCC ON, then TRC OFF. Also, hybrid engine start and shut down.
Results: ~ 7.52 sec ~ 7.15 sec and 30 sec.

Nostalgic for me my mom had this car but it hybrid system broke so we had to trade it
Put it in Sport mode, gearbox in S and gear 1 and turn off traction control. Then try it. You will be surprised.
hm, what is the difference than ??? traction control off or stability control tpo ?? i smoke shit Tuareg V6TDI or X5 or Q5´s uphill with ease driving like him. Downhill that car has a limiter to safe e-motor bearings , so no chance.

Here in Norway RX 2009/2010/2011 is just a little bit cheaper over NX300h. Is NX worth buying because it is newer, or doesnt even come close to RX,even if its older generation?
The rx is a much more refined and upscale car than the nx. Try both and you will easily understand. Older rx anytime…

Speed showing on speedometer or GPS? My 400h can run 217 km/h (196 on GPS) after that speed ECU is cutting off the fuel
Yours seems to be japanese spec. IIRC all cars sold there aren't allowed to go faster than that but don't quote me on that one xD

@honk1234 I've tried launching it but it doesn't seem to like it. Holding the gas and acceleration prompts a warning light.
How do you engage the launch control?
CVT gearbox is werd, but i need to try drive this first 👌
This is absolutely addictive gearbox. No other car will give you smoother driving experience
When you cruising on the Autobahn this is the best gearbox .
The RX450h has an electronic CVT, not a mechanical 'belt' like other brands. It uses a motor/generator to control a planetary gearset that mimics how a CVT transmission works. It varies the sun gear speed using a motor to change the gear ratio, infinitely. Nothing to wear out, nearly bulletproof.

I don't think that makes a difference; I have a CT200h, and there are graphs for power output/throttle response. Eco has less power at low throttle, and sport has more - but peak power output (at max RPM) is the same. I.e. if you floor the pedal in any mode, it goes to maximum power; not like eco will limit engine RPM or anything.
100km/h on the speedometer is actually around 95kmh almost all cars cheat :/ so this would be slightly under 8, i had both 200t and 450h for testing and apart from the big apatite for gas the 200t is better: quiet, 8 to 100, lighter the hybrid is nice in traffic though.
It is no cheat it is for safety reasons. Becaus the tires are loosing material over time and therefore the speedometer is set up for that with an offset in that way that it never shows you a lower speed than you're actual driving (even at low tire wealth). Some cars does have a gps supported speedometer to compensate that offset. ;)

@@BruceCarbonLakeriver sadly no, the actual reason is so if you hover at the speedlimit you cant get pulled over for speeding if u got a really anal police officer there.
thats why its usally fair to go just a bit above the speedlimit even if the police is there.
i have a clock at home that is roughly 5 minutes ahead, so i will get to work a bit earlier

yeah same for me :) not even in the Sport gearbox and not in the sport mode :) it is in eco mode and also traction is not turned off he just pushed it and thought that it turned it off

Ha-ha 90? Absolutely no problem. I used my prius 100 m/h very long period over 1500 km. 2016 and my battery is perfect. Overheating kill you battery. Please used additional device for coool battery.

Ive had CVTs. None of them drone. Its the engine revs you are hearing, not the CVT itself. Why does nobody get this on YT ? For the record, CVTs work far better when not floored. I could fly in the Subaru Outback I had without the revs going anywhere near the red line, and that was with the traditional steel belt and pulley system. Lexus use ECVT which is even more advanced but still needs you to understand its principles and its designed purpose to get the best out of it. Too many people in general simply don’t understand CVTs full stop, and will have nothing but negative comments to make about them. They are designed for smooth relaxing progress. Boxer engines sound better with them as they have more character. Build the speed up gradually, once you get momentum, increase the speed once the revs have caught up and you can maintain great progress without that drone you mention.

It is not cvt... it is dual planetary transmission... completely different thing!

considering real speed with a good watch (and not tacho which is not precise):
it's 8,5s for 0/200 and 34,5s for 0/200
it's shame for a car with supposed 300HP....
A Touareg TDI 240HP, X5 3.0D, ML 350 CDI is much more faster with 50 HP less...
