There are some good points in this video. But from that 8 dribbble shots of weather app did you really choose 7 really? Every individuals weather tolerance is different therefore it's just become one big useless illustration and people not only want to know weather is like right now they also want to know weather is gonna be like when they come from job/school.

Khosbayar Zolboo thanks! You've brought up a very good point here! The goal here is to really understand your users and what they want out of your product. If you can tap into that particular experience you will be in a good position with your target market. It’s not about 7 being the best or worst but about being the one that aligns with your user research; in this case it solves the general problem of them wanting to know what to wear and how to prepare for the day (and it does it in a way that's different from the myriad of other apps that take the same approach). This app may not be for everyone and as you pointed out, it may not be the optimal solution once you've tested it with your users, but it's also not about being everything to everyone. It's about being the exact right app for YOUR users and showing your unique perspective as a designer. This example is just to illustrate how one idea can really stand out from hundreds of other weather apps on Dribble and how we can take a different approach to serve a customer segment in a focused and original way. But yes, totally agree with you it is a little bit of a novelty this one! Yet something some might really gravitate towards to give them a general sense of how to prepare for the day.
