I never understood how Eun Tak and Goblin fell in love in the first place. To me it felt kind of forced and sudden. I liked the relationship between Grim Reaper and Sunny, because their's felt more natural.
Personally, I liked Goblin more the second time round. I got to see how much effort they put in filming it and could enjoy the locations, filming style and costumes more. Also, having seen the bts footage, I could appreciate the actors' improvisations that made the characters feel alive; especially the Reaper.

I agree. The show was good because the acting was fantastic. The plot towards the end was a reverse deus ex machina. She almost literally got hit by a bus to create the final crisis.
My Roommate is a Gumiho is similar to Goblin and also extremely good. I'm a big fan of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, but that might push your cheesy limits in parts.
I don’t think the ending would’ve had the same impact if she was reincarnated with a different face. I got so emotional when I saw her walking towards him at the end. I thought it ended perfectly - it didn’t show too much or too little. Very bittersweet but memorable and is still one of my favourite drama endings to date!
