Fun fact: shinobu rushed to attack nezuko to protect Giyu, because she thought Giyu is a klutz that doesn't realise nezuko is a demon. That's why she was pissed when Giyu protected nezuko 😂

Tomioka pretty much ensured Muzan's death here. If she was allowed to kill Nezuko, most likely Tanjiro would have died in one of the many major fights she saved or helped him, or he would have given up remaining a demon slayer.
I think it too. As much as selfless Tanjiro is, his main goal IS to save his sister from staying a monster.
Nezuko dying, Tanjiro probably gives up or gets depressed, abandons corps, no one to encourage Giyuu so he won't train to Infinity castle, no one to encourage Kanao to show her feelings and evolve, so Douma stays the winner. without the sun breathing, there's no one to end Muzan...
If Nezuko died literally the world would most likely be taken by Muzan.

I don't know if you guys have noticed it but the animation for Demon Slayer these days has improved drastically. The animation for the first season is really good, but as seen in this segment, it wasn't all that better than other anime studios. Nowadays however, all episodes are cinema-level quality
