Great review man. I’m an arborist, a pruner and do landscaping and I have just about every chainsaw. Husqvarna makes currently and I have every variety of
Pole saw. Because of your video I ran out and got one. I will say that leaving the chain guard on is really beneficial. You can move faster, you can use it for undercutting quickly, you don’t ever have to worry about going in the ground and zero chance of kickback.
I've sure been enjoying mine.
You sold me on one! I'm in WI and we have a never ending battle with buckthorn (invasive). Light enough to work one handed, and drag the limbs with the other. The bonus is I'm deep into the DeWalt ecosystem, so I already have batteries galore (2ah to 9ah). Makes the decision a no-brainer. Thanks!
I'm the same way, tons of Dewalt tools and batteries here. I'm honestly impressed with it.
Love your reviews bud.
I have wore out my milwaukee set and let them go into our work trailer to use on the job. I have been looking at Dewalt combo kits. This helps me decide.
I know most consider Milwaukee top of the line. With that said I've been running nothing but Dewalt since 18 years old and they've all performed when needed. They cost less, have an excellent warranty should you need it and just flat out work. I can't justify the increase in price since my tools get used heavily and always work.
Hi, Andrew! As always, another great demonstration. Thanks for all your hard work.
Thank you for watching
Best demonstration tutorial I’ve watched … great tool great work 👍
Thank you for watching
So glad to see a good review of the pruning saw, I have been looking at getting one. I currently have the dewalt 8” 20v pole saw and I run the flex volt battery’s on it and they truly do make all the difference.
I have a gas pole saw or I'd be getting that one myself.
@@TheKelleysReviews I rarely use it is the only reason I bought the battery one but it has proven itself against some cheap pole saws
Sweet saw. I was wondering how well that one worked. I was gifted the mini stihl battery for trimming it’s kinda like that one. Handy saws to have around. Thanks Andrew
I've been kicking around that 12 inch saw, but this one might take care of all my needs.
Nice! You look like you were having fun with that! Might have to get me one of those for convenience..
I was, I need more stuff to cut 🤣
@@TheKelleysReviews 😂
A few years ago I had a little 10" chainsaw and it worked really well also, but I had a constant battle with the batteries...I think they have made improvements in the newer generations, but they are so expensive I just went back to the good ole extension cord - I don't need the portability anymore. Nice lil tool!
Batteries are much better nowadays.
Great video . These are £189 in the UK . I am torn between this pruning saw and the cheaper , £109 , Dewalt 20v pruner . Any advice ? I own the larger Dewalt chain saw . This one is a very convenient size . How long does the oil reservoir last ? Thanking you in advance for your opinion .
It lasts a while, I have never timed it. I would recommend this model, it's very powerful for it's size.
Now thats a cool little unit 💪
It sure is
What a great little tool. Do you know the chain teeth size I couldn't find it on the web site that you provided
This is the spare I ordered, sadly I don't see the size anywhere. That would be nice to know for a sharpener. amzn.to/3yUNBrc
I found it, it's 3/8 picco chaim
The same file as I use on my Stihl ms170.
I guess that’s about the best out there these days, much better than a sawz all, but nothing out there competes with the 14.4v Makita mini chain saw that came out 20 yrs ago. Total Beast, and I don’t think they make one anymore
Not familiar with that one.
Seems like a handy tool for SxS or Roxor
It sure is!
I bought this today and I used it and then I had to return it.
Because the case started to come apart, where the Chain bar and the Oil Reservoir were Meeting.
I believe I bought the wrong length for my useage.
A 10” length would be better for Cutting Small logs and Brush.
Check the Oil Reservoir and bar location every time you use it.
Or I believe you will regret it
Hate to hear that, mine has been awesome.
Well, that zips right along!
Yes it does
Fantastic little tool there! Was that $139 price including the battery/charger or just the tool itself?
That was just the tool itself, I believe it's $209 with battery and charger.
just need to carry the charger and a ecoflow for them long rides!
Naaa, I got a pile of batteries 😉
Thanks a lot
Most welcome
Anyone figure out how to keep the saw from leaking during storage?
Mine has yet to do that. But that's not uncommon.
Wow
There he is!
My only complaint is that stupid chain tip guard
It comes right off
it's a pruning saw for goodness sake. Why is everyone trying to be a lumber jack with this thing. Right tool for the job. Those tree trunks ur cutting should be done with a larger saw.
You apparently missed the part where I mentioned this will be riding in all offroad vehicles. Sometimes you run upon a tree that blocks the road. Cut it or turn around, I want to see what this can do. So do most other people.
Andrew Kelley, you suffer from amnesia, forgot what happened last time you were cutting wood? You will NOT go to mess with trees without proper protection which includes full length trousers!!!!!
😬😬😬😬
