The Tickle Vs Giggle verdict has created a lot of concern that women who were born women will not be legally allowed to have their own spaces in Australia.
#TickleVsGiggle #SalGrover #HannahBarnes #KathleenStock #philcraig
In this video Phil Craig and I discuss that verdict, as well as reactions from legal experts and academics.
We touch on Sal Grover’s ongoing fight for women’s rights and Hannah Barnes’s book, which reported whistleblowers' concerns about the Tavistock clinic.
A serious look at this very polarising issue.

The Secret Gender Files
How did our institutions fall prey to irrational notions like gender identity? I trace the history of the people and ideas that are driving our society nuts.
I wonder if Ms Tickle spends her time trying to find women-only sites so that she can deliberately troll them with the express intent of causing real women distress, and getting maximum publicity for herself and her agenda?
@@Amy_Housewife8809 wouldn’t be at all surprised! It’s called self justification & life choice affirmation. Shoving yourself into people’s faces just like the bearded bloke in the dress did in the supermarket ladies loo here in Victoria only 3 weeks ago!
Absolutely no doubt.
If you think he’s bad, you should look up Jennifer Yaniv in Canada. He’s an appalling character. And I’ve used male pronouns because men is what they are!
Interesting thought.
Yes there are a couple of these “activists” that troll small businesses to basically catch them in the act of misgendering…are they really progressing the rights of trans people here or being a nuisance with using real issues as a front for trolling basically…
Hi Shauna, thanks for this discussion, I have made several comments on this topic in your other episodes. I’m no bigot, in fact my 26 year old son has one very close male school friend who is non binary & enjoys the odd dress & has lovely long curls! However this whole thing can be quite sinister. Suffice to say that I had quite a shock in a small suburban shopping centre ladies loo with only 2 cubicles, whilst washing my hands a very large well over 6ft person with a beard and a floral dress emerged from the other cubicle… just the 2 of us at the basin. To be honest I could not get out of there fast enough… it was very real fear, I felt very intimidated. I think this person was deliberately confrontational in using the ladies as there was a unisex disabled loo right next door to the ladies. I felt exactly like the woman in the advertisement for trans rights here in Victoria when she found herself in a lift with a very obviously male person dressed as a woman. That ad is an absolute disgrace… it seeks to mock & ridicule the very REAL feelings of absolutely real biological women who are being villainised & called awful names. Long fought for women’s rights are being subsumed for a minority. Even more disturbing is the fact that this minority are trying very hard to gather more and more people mainly the vulnerable young, into their aberrant new world view! It’s a world gone mad.
Well done!😊
Yes it is very confronting when the other person is coming across as aggressive and you are alone x
I definitely understand what you’re saying ! Interesting in my comment I used the restroom as an example but there are many obstacles and it’s not because I’m a bigot or wish to be difficult either !!
Well said!! Yes, women did fight long and hard for freedoms, rights and to be recognised as a person and not goods and chattles of a man.. now we have men in dresses who are cutting it back to the quick again, making us bleed out all over again!!
Very unnerving experience. JK Rowling made this very point about female only spaces like loos and changing rooms, that it is possible for predators to intentionally use female dress/appearance as a cover to go hunting. The problem for women is how do we tell the difference, between a genuinely harmless trans person who just wants to be accepted, and a predator who is, effectively, a wolf in sheep's clothing? And why should we have to? To allow non-biological 'women' to access these spaces therefore takes away the whole point of having women's only spaces - which were intended to cater specifically for female safety and privacy. It is essential that women should have places where they can go to deal with intimate bodily functions, care for their children, or get undressed without being in fear of who else they may be confronted by in that space. Obviously other women can be aggressors too, but that is comparatively rare, whereas male biology is designed around the need for aggression. Women should not be put in that position - it takes us right back to the bad old days when women had no rights, and no respect.
J K Rowling has my vote
I think the true trans population is very rare and small.
The bandwagon is very large.
@@bonniejohnston2570 oh gosh I agree with you. Ive been saying that for a few years now. I’m an accepting an accommodating kind of person but really I don’t believe half the people I meet are. I can’t keep up with all the options.
And both Catlyn Jenner and Dr. Rene Richards have publicly come out against trans woman in competitive sports. In case you don’t remember, Dr. Richard is a trans woman who played professional tennis in the 70s. She now admits she was wrong, because even in her 40s and out of shape, she still had an unfair advantage. She went on the become one of the best pediatric strabismus surgeons in the country
I agree. I'm concerned that such a small group of people has already had the political clout the erode my rights.
Absolutely 😢@@N_for_Nellie
Well I am an old lady. (Read opinionated wordy old lady) I’ve always been pretty laissez-faire. People are either nice, kind, willing in which case I have lots of time for them or they are not. In that case I give them another chance but give up if they continue to be “not”. I do believe some people are born in the wrong bodies and believe they have the right to make adjustments
. I am totally against children being pushed into anything by teachers without the parent’s knowledge. I am really, really, really against any surgical intervention being carried out on children. There is plenty of time for children to grow up before final decisions are made.
Trans gender people shouldn’t use the advantages of their former gender against people without that advantage such as athletes. Those poor women athletes who have trained as hard as anyone else to be beaten by someone stronger than anyone born as a woman do not deserve that.
anyone with a penis should not use the ladies’ room. I can also see a trans woman might feel vulnerable in a men’s room. It would seem a third rest room needs to be built.
I hope I have not offended anyone overly but feel that common sense has been lost in this debate.
I am 65 years old and agree with you. People are strong in opinions for his issue. I do not know the correct answer but as a woman I do not want men in my public restroom. I watched a video earlier today about a young trans man wanting to be a woman and he was killed for pretending to be a woman. (He was engaging in sexual contact with men and they were horrified when they discovered that this was a man.)His mother spoke about how he wanted to be a woman. Very sad.
Your opinions are respected! We want to host an open discussion here.
I've been saying that for ages that a third restroom should be an option, however there will always be those trans people who think it's their right to go in whichever restroom they choose but where are biological women's rights? Seems we have less and less as time goes on
@@bjbrownCommon sense! A rare find! ❤
Absolutely agree!
The idea of someone suing because they can’t join a group of “friends” reminds me, many years ago when I started working for school dist. The children would come to me and say, “my friend won’t play with me.” I was supposed to explain to them that’s not nice. But I could not bring myself to do that. I’d tell them, “then find a new friend.” That’s what I taught my own two sons. That’s what I grew up with. Then you figure it out as you grew up. The world is just nuts today.
Great point
I’m reminded of Groucho Marx saying “I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.”

JK Rowling is the bomb diggedy. She is a warrior.
Wow yes. That would get my vote.
When women have a platform like Giggle, it is for women to talk about their experiences, medical issues, dating etc. Hence the name Giggle. A man does not have the same life experience so why would he want to be involved. I think he wants to eavesdrop.
Especially if women want to share experiences with SA or domestic violence, without a man trolling and yelling abuse at them.
Giggle, as a name, suggests frivolity, not a place to discuss serious topics like medical issues.
It was a space for women to feel safe without a male presence for whatever reason.
It was doomed from the start 🙁
Respectfully, I meant menopausal, hot flashes, issues even pretend women(man) should have no direct interest in, unless to use in his pretend life.
@donnagaston6616 Trans Women who take hormones to transition or people whose hormone balance is such that it is more female than male do experience hot flashes.
This is not some childish game to be joked about.
9 minutes in and I could kiss Phil already. So refreshing to listen to two sensible and rational adults discuss this topic in a calm, sensible and respectful manner. Absolutely loving our new UK correspondent, hoping this is the first of many more appearances from Phil.
Remember a powerful comment from a lesbian,,,,,, she said if she had known what the LGBTQ2S+ was going to become, she would not have fought to hard for LGB rights 20/30 years ago.
💔 heartbreaking really
I have lesbian friends who have been a couple for almost 30 years. One day not long ago they were talking about a man who identified as a woman (different situation) and just said, 'that's a bloke'. They don't agree with any of this extremism and they have had to fight for recognition and acceptance.
I know right! I've watched so many gays and lesbians say these things, and they end up being cancelled, vilified and called whatever phobic. So many of them who actually fought the good fight of equality and won only to find that their past struggles and battles have been squashed into the dirt. 🤦🏼♀️😠😢
The parts of the Coalition of the Fringes have interests that are often at cross-purposes. Gay men are very different from Lesbians, and there are multiple flavors of Trans with different motivations. Kudos to Lesbians for standing up during the AIDS crisis, which didn't affect them directly.
Wow
Dear Shauna; I feel like I’m in the wrong movie ! I couldn't help but cringe so badly, when you told in the beginning that: "it's since been found by justice Robert Bro. (...) that sex is CHANGEABLE !", And I nearly feel physically sick because I am finding this whole extremism idiocy so terribly alarming, and appalling.
A lot of people are alarmed by that verdict. I am, that’s why I made the video.
The right word is gender and is a word that is complete in itself it cannot be altered: there are still 2, male, female& a small number of birth defects. Somehow this has gotten mixed up with other terminology to meet possibly other people's agendas. There is an overreach that needs to be met. Shauna has done a great thing by putting it out there to us so that we will address it as women always do.
A good friend of mine who is a lesbian told me recently that she has stopped going to her local interest group because a couple of Trans people joined and basically took over. They were very strident and she felt intinidated by them and unable to express her views as they would shout at anybody who didn't agree with them. It is very sad.
That is sad
It is because for one of the groups she was a founder member. This lady did not even go to the local pride march this year and normally she goes and participates each year. She told me that she felt unsafe so decided not to go.
I have been wondering if Giggle was held in person, in someone's home, would that person be required to let everyone interested in or would they retain the right to exclude someone (for any reason)? Are these laws easier to uphold because the participants are online? I do not believe the majority of people agree that sex can change because a law decreed it so. This must go to the High Court because my rights as a woman (and all others like me) are being trampled on.
It will have to go to the High Court so that Sall Grover can appeal the unjust ruling against her, but it shouldn't have had to go to any court at all. Our politicians should fix the mess they made of the Sex Discrimination Act in 2013.
I may be misunderstanding the Australian judicial system, but I don't believe any actual law declared it so only the judge's ruling which I don't believe is equivalent to law.
Shauna, thank you for covering this issue with Phil Craig. I have been living in this world of confusion in my home for the past several years with 2 young adult children. Autism spectrum is part of this, combining with social media cancellations, wokeism, DEI training, etc. has exacerbated the issue. I’ll need to just leave this right here. 💔 I have always supported all persons, though this is very difficult.
😘💕 Aren’t they lucky to have you! X
@@thevintagereadwell said Shauna
Thank you for sharing.
As an American, I am clueless as to what Australia has been going through with the trans movement until this Giggle debacle. We've been struggling through similar things here. Our rather defining moment came when a high school boy defined himself as female committed SA on a girl in a school bathroom. The school and police really did nothing but transfer him to another school where he did a repeat. Then the poop hit the fan and really polarized much of the country. If kids are confused, get them counseling but wait until their brain is fully formed (25 years old) to do anything that can't be undone. How is it that this was never an issue before the internet and social media was a thing? I certainly never heard of such a thing when I was in school, nor did my children. Now my grandchildren have to navigate this minefield. I know 2 adults in their late 20s/early 30s who transitioned fully within the last 5 years and they both seem happy with their decision...I'll be interested to know how they are in 20 years.
And the father of the girl in Loudon Co. was vilified and harassed when he complained!
Similar feelings. IMO major decisions about bodily changes should not happen until fully (?) grown physically and mentally which I would estimate at 25 years old and after several years of counseling, and yes, support by family and friends if it is determined by the individual to be their “final” decision. Because I don’t believe there is any going back at that point. I worked at a predominately gay church for 7 years and I am a hetero female, 35 yrs married with two teenagers. The church also had a wonderful predominately gay high school. It was the only one in existence and it was inspiring to hear stories for these kids of how it saved their lives. I was proud to be a part of this wonderful group of people who supported each other and the community. It worries me to see what is happening with the community. We need to support each other with love and compassion and not press our views on others. Let each person come to what is right for them and the best we can do is support them with love. But we also need to be mindful of each others rights. Extremism is never the answer.

I was a male trapped in a woman’s body until my mother gave birth to me.
This is the BEST comment I’ve read yet!!!
I have no interest in the drama of this subject. I have earned my stripes as a woman. Don't try to tell me what constitutes a woman. Real women cannot be faked by wannabes.
We were drawing attention to exactly that.
I’ve always been a proponent for equal rights, but the Tickle ruling is appalling for women and girls. If in future sites for women only need to be called CIS then so be it, stop Mr Tickle from ruining everything for everyone.
Disagreeing is seen as hating, nothing seems to be debated now, when actually debate is really needed.
It is!
The fact that they were able to use a new definition of what a woman is in a court of law makes me so sad…it’s come way too far degrading the rights and privacy of women and girls.
Thank you for this discussion, Shauna. Thank you, Phil, for being our UK correspondent.

Thank you Shauna that was a brilliant, informed, balanced and nuanced discussion with Phil.
Thanks for being here!
This was a very enjoyable listen despite the topic being fraught with complexity. I agree with you both that the rights of trans people need to be understood, respected and protected. No argument there but of course, this is a deeply nuanced issue that I believe as a society, we will take years to understand. The important thing is that it is worth the time and effort -- no question. My concern is now as it has been for many years about the nature of debate, argument and language. Without debate and discussion of topics that we may find disagreeable and/or difficult, how do we advance as human beings? Without respectful disagreement, how do we learn anything new? It's at the point where generally, it is simply easier to keep one's opinions to oneself. Importantly, there are still issues where it is worthwhile and necessary to leap into the fray. Thanks to both Shauna and Phil.
We hope to leap into the fray monthly!
I think there has to be a legal distinction between biological females (and males) and trans people. Not to discriminate but to all society to tease out nuances and be able to protect women and girls as well as trans people. For instance having a legal distinction could prevent trans women from participating in women's sports where it has been shown to be massively unfair and at times physically dangerous to women and girls.
What an incredible informative video, thankyou so much ,great respect from a 70 year old grandma ,who truly had no idea.I had heard the judge stating his opinion ,but I assumed he was joking. It's a bit of a mess isn't it. 😢
Shauna I’m so delighted you have Phil on again 😊 Wow this whole subject of transgender seems so muddled . I think people have the right to live a lifestyle that is right for them and shouldn’t be bullied or violated ! With that said the transgender create questions for many of us , not because of phobia or discrimination but in different situations I think we are still not all on agreement ie in sports , even in simple question like which restroom to use , it’s getting to the point bathrooms need to be single stations to eliminate the ‘concern’ for lack of better word ! If their is a person who has the physical body of a man but identifies as female and they enter a multi stall woman’s room I don’t believe if a woman isn’t comfortable that makes her discriminatory! Yet we can’t have everyone drop their draws b4 entering ! I’m not sure how this will be resolved , I don’t support hate I don’t want to see anyone have a harder life than they might be having. Single room restrooms is only 1 small possible solution for that , sports or woman’s group or men’s group idk how we will resolve this ! The folks that want to be referred to as non identifying sexual being ? That we wouldn’t know until they introduced themselves I suppose …. I agree we need more tolerance…. But at times I feel we are being forced to not question ….. thanks again Shauna always a pleasure ❤
The question of "which restroom to use" is now a big concern for me. The other day, I was followed into a women's restroom by a man who, in my opinion, was a MAN in every sense of the word. I quickly closed myself into a bathroom stall, HE chose the one right next to me, though all the other stalls were available, and there were 8 of them. This frightened me so badly that I unlocked the door and hurried back out. When I notified staff that there was a man in the women's restroom, they said that there was nothing they could say or do because he might identify as a "woman". If he identified as a woman, he clearly made no effort to look like one, dress like one, nor did he even bother to shave off the beard & mustache that had clearly been grown-out for at least 3-4 days. This entire trans rights thing is insane! Who knows what he was up to.
Funny how at out door events there are port a potty's that everyone uses with no problems but indoor facilities is a different situation! In many venues where I live, there is always a long line for the ladies & there was a huge news discussion because some women went into the men's restroom at a sporting event (they were escorted in by a male friend because of the long wait to the ladies restroom) yet it caused a huge outcry - so apparently single station bathrooms need to become a thing.
@@Sassie1 I agree. I used to regularly visit a town where the public toilets were set up like this - non gender individual units. It meant no embarrassment for anyone using them, as well as being a speedy use of facilities, especially in times of urgency. A positive and efficient use of the space.

Oh! Excellent! I have to come back sometime tomorrow! I’m looking forward to it!
Why are we not hearing of this in the reverse? Good God.
Trans men (females were members of Giggle). Sall Glover has stated this in interview with Andrew Gold.
@@N_for_NellieIf she said that, then she is being hypocritical denying a trans woman membership.
Because men do not feel as threatened by trans men as some women feel by trans women.
@@alicemilne1444 Hi there, I can see what you're saying but it was more in this context.
Trans Men are biologically female and so welcome in the safe space of the females group. She gave the examples of Trans Men connecting in their chat rooms for mutual support during their process (paraphrased).
Trans Women are however biologically male, and like every other male was not eligible to be part of the safe space female group.
I wondered if the Trans Women did join the group, then is it hypocritical to deny all biological men entry? Which of course would defeat the purpose of the group, for women born biologically women to have a space.
Interested to hear your thoughts.
@@N_for_Nellie I still find that ethically very iffy. If the Trans Men joined for mutual support while they were transitioning, did they then leave or were they kicked out once they had fully transitioned and were living as men? Would their continued membership of the group not be hypocritical as well?
As for Trans Women or those that are transitioning, where are the safe spaces for them? Is every single Trans Woman a predator - as some seem to suggest?
I also find it far more enlightening to listen to actual trans people who can speak from experience.
I can remember back in the 1970s when James Morris a successful journalist and travel writer became known as Jan Morris after transitioning and surgery and was a well known public figure. At the time everybody said he, then she had had a sex change. It caused a buzz in the news for a while and then died down. We had all known people of varyingly masculine or feminine presentation while growing up. Including cross-dressers in theatre and pantomime. That somebody actually had a sex change was unusual but not unheard of.
The current outrage/hysteria is in my view unfortunately largely a product of social media and the tendency for people to write things that they would never say to people's faces. It has nothing to do with free speech or women's rights any more.
By the way, I found a very interesting assessment of the constitutional aspects of this case here on YT. Look up "Tickle v Giggle - The Constitution and gender identity" on the Constitutional Clarion channel.
Personally, as a woman who has always been more at the masculine end of the female spectrum of gene expression*, I would never have joined a forum called "Giggle" - far too giggly-girly for me.
*Yes, I studied biology to university level and did actually begin a medical degree, though I didn't pursue it then but moved on to business and engineering. I have, however, taken a keen interest in genetics, human biology, endocrinology, etc., and read a huge amount about it. Biological sex seems to be one of the most misunderstood things on the planet (along with climate change) at the moment.
Great discussion Shauna! It really opened up as to why there is so much discussion about the issue to which, to be honest, wasn't really on my radar. I grew up believing that it didn't matter about sexual orientation or race - live & let live kind of thing. Yet, just as our world became more accepting it seems that predators took advantage of the issues too. And no, I am not saying transpeople are predators either but that predators use these social issues in differing ways - some for fame, others to prey on unsuspecting people, some for money etc. Where I do have to draw the line is at medical intervention on children / teens without a process of at least a year or two in counseling unless both parents or guardians can show that yes, the child has always behaved like the other sex. Teens are very impressionable and it's also a stage that many actually question their sexuality - esp. if there is neglect, abuse or very rigid parenting. In MHO, this is just common sense. On the other issues of women's rights, yes, there are issues but who is going to know who is a trans woman vs who's a biological woman unless they tell? Is there also not biological women that transition into men - is there problems within this grouping? Most of all - the jail situation! Excuse me but I don't care what you claim you preference is, if you do something illegal & get thrown into jail you lost your privilege - you go into whichever group your body shows itself to be! If the jails divide gay vs straight then you get a choice but otherwise someone who has a male sex organ goes to the male area & those without it go to the female area. Social media seems to be the new town hall but without the privilege of talking to others face to face. We seem to have forgotten that not everyone shares our same views as we tend to gravitate to those who share our own views - ie: the sussex sugars vs the rest of us (lol). Due to how social media works, it can tend to isolate us in understanding one another's view points. I mean IF everyone is agreeing and all the sudden there is a lone dissenter, well they must be a hater right? Sorry so long, just my thoughts about the talk tonight!

It is a conundrum indeed. I must say that in my VERY limited experience I have never seen a transgender person who has transitioned / morphed seamlessly into their new skin. Their's is truly a cross for them to bear. 😢 If only there was a one size fits all kind of fix we could all be a lot happier.

Well, these modern time problems! There are possible REAL cases but for me it looks more like trend. One can change own body but not DNA. And what about mental side? etc. If societies consider this a real issue - why is there not (to my knowledge) any laws making clear what is the change of gender, from what transformation level it should be acknowledge as finished, from what age procedures could be done, is there areas transition cannot be applied for (sport!) etc. etc. If medicine can do this kind of procedure for sure justice system can give legal frames too! Not happy to have around "women" with male genitalia etc.! Homosexuality is what people are born with, this trans thing is mostly not real issue nor solving any of personal problems...
Such a wonderful discussion tonight. I do remember listening to that prior podcast with Phil and Andrew about the trans kids and found it particularly interesting because of the amount of preteens and teen girls that are currently experiencing gender, dysphoria and initiating transition here in the US. I think I remarked about that after listening to their podcast. I look forward to more interviews like this.
Good morning Shauna! I wanted to let you know after I finished this video yesterday I was so inspired I went directly to the Hannah episode on the Sandal Mongers Pod.and learned so much. Thanks for bringing this subject to us for thoughts and explore, the many facets of the trans issues starting with children through the adult issues for these people.
Wonderful Jane, thanks for that.
Extremism of all kinds is wrong. There has to be consensus and freedom to express views.
Yes and the gender theory enthusiast seems to want to use legal, physical, or verbal intimidation to shut down any conversation.
This has been marvelous! Thank you both so much!
Thank You Shauna & Craig For Enlightening Us, Great Chat Enjoyed. ❤❤❤.
A very enjoyable chat listening to Shauna & Phil.
Thanks for being here!
What an interesting conversation very informative and entertaining thank you Shauna and Phil
Our pleasure Margaret 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
@@thevintageread It was lovely listening to people talking about about this highly controversial topic without arguing and shouting each other down. It is not a subject that I have read up on but do know one or two transgender people and have every sympathy for the struggles that they have to go through and the bias that they have to live with.
Truly EXCELLENT discussion! So many brilliant points and information shared. It has explained how some things which have puzzled me about the very extreme, emotional standpoints have come to be. Thank you.
Thanks for watching Lyn
Excellent chat! Thank you and regards from Montreal🇨🇦
Thanks for watching! 🇦🇺🇬🇧🇨🇦😊
Scottish comedian Leo Kearse says he wishes Roxanne had chosen the name Tess 🤣🤣🤣
Superb stuff. Phil Craig is great, along with Andrew Lownie. Wonderful smart fellas, their Scandalmongers podcast is really interesting. Malcolm Clark is awesome too, very smart and brave. I really enjoyed this conversation Shauna- you're wonderful too!
Thanks so much
Couldn't agree more! (About Phil & Andrew)
Thank you so much Shauna and Phil for another fantastic show 🙏🥰
Our pleasure!
A person can have cosmetic surgery to resemble a different sex. Physiology cannot be changed. It is not appropriate to include transgendered in all arenas. They are different, should not be able to compete in certain sporting events, or to be in situations that cause people to be harmed.
I completely agree with you.
Thank you for this conversation. I think today’s society needs a big dose of there are just places you don’t belong. Sometimes men just want to hang out with men and women just want to be with women etc. as a gay man I absolutely don’t want straight men in gay bars and nightclubs. I don’t want to play the guessing game of I wonder if he is straight or gay. We have to do that in society. These situation is a perfect example of going too far! There should absolutely be a place for biological women, men, gay, straight to gather. And if you don’t then that is your problem not ours.
Perfectly put. Of course we need our spaces especially if we want to let our guards down & relax! I think the gay community has really suffered from this extremism. 💕
I love this channel, it’s so refreshing hearing common sense. Lovely to see Phil again.
Lovely to be back!
More to come! 😊🙌
Brilliant conversation, thank you 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hello from NYC. I was not aware of this case. Very interesting vlog!
Shauna you can print my comment. I am a retired medical and psychiatric social worker, and I believe everybody should live their life as themselves whoever that might be.
I think we all agree on that but “rights” need to be addressed!
The eating a scab comment made me laugh and retch at the same time lol
My work here is done
Same! 😂
Kia Ora. It’s great that you have a broad set of interests and have met some amazing people that you collaborate with. I love the diversity you bring to the table. Nga Mihi from across the ditch.
Thank you so much!!
The idea that you could go to prison for misgendering someone is absurd and terrifying.
Shauna, you are so gifted at interviewing and bringing true candor in sensitive discussions.
Really kind of you Barbara x
Love, love, love these talks you have Shauna. Not too scary, balanced and informative. X
Awe Shauna what a fabulous interview
You are such a natural…. I predict your channel is going to go through the roof 🎉❤
I hope so! 😂
Leave KIDS alone to be kids.
Thought provoking and balanced discussion. I think Phil’s observation of everyone today jumping into a trench is deeply problematic and divisive. Oh, I miss debate - it’s a great balancer. Thanks for making me feel a little more enlightened today! I’ll jump across and listen to Hannah’s perspective now 😊. Thanks both.
Thank you so much for being here Rhonda 😊
Many thanks Rhonda
Great episode Shauna, I love the chats you have with guests. X
Very interesting and enjoyable chat with Phil. Looking forward to the next one. 👏
Thanks Elsbeth! 😘😘😘
Me too
I really enjoyed this, wasn't sure I would as not your usual stuff, however it was great. Common denominator is obvious... You ! ❤
That’s really kind! Thanks xxx
Great interview with Phil Craig
Thanks Catherine
Yahoo, my favorite youtube channel! Hello Shauna, hope your ankle is healing. Canadian greetings.❤❤
Mine too 😊
Thanks Shauna, enjoyed him again
What a lovely interview Shauna.
Our pleasure 😊
Enjoyed this interview. Can’t believe live in the UK and had never heard of Phil Craig. For once maybe I am to young 😂
😂
Or I am too old
My mother used lightly fry blood pudding and serve it with eggs for my father as breakfast or lunch. I would never try it as I have a hard time eating "regular meat". I am surprised it is still around.
As always, was a brilliant discussion between two genuine people. Sharing your opinions whilst at the same time, not judgemental. This was a brilliant debate between Shauna and her wonderful guest. There was ample opportunity for anyone to comment freely. Thank you both 👏 ❤xx
Thanks for writing such a lovely comment Alison 😊
Wonderful! Thanks so much for your comment.
Enjoyed. A very deep discussion.
Thank you both.
Our pleasure!
This was such an interesting conversation, Shauna. Phil Craig made some excellent and thoughtful points. I am troubled by politicians, and especially the legal system, who seem to consider extremist views and positions when writing laws and making legal rulings. I think extremist views can be helpful when debating all sides of an issue, but they have proven to have disastrous effects when they are permitted to dominate over pragmatic, common sense approaches in dealing with serious issues. I believe that people should strive to be more tolerant of others and open-minded to other lifestyles and opinions that may differ from their own norm. I have always believed that effective communication, especially listening, is the key to solving most problems. It seems when communication breaks down, frustration ensues, and it often leads to intimidation and even violence. Thank you, Shauna, for providing your viewers with some thought-provoking content.
Thanks Lisa 😊
@@philmcraigYou're very welcome, Mr. Craig...my pleasure. What a nice and unexpected surprise to see your personal response to my comment. I appreciate it! 😊
V interesting interview. This is something that has come to my family, and I always thought I was very accepting and open minded, but what’s going on doesn’t make any sense. It’s the opposite of being yourself, accepting yourself - it’s all about changing yourself, using drugs and surgery, to fit some stereotypic ideal. Btw, my relative went to the Tavistock, and was actually denied puberty blockers and advised therapy instead, so they did get it right sometimes.
Do I not have by my freedom of speech the right to direct my speech for any of several reasons to my own gender? Do I not have the right to freedom of association? Same access to opportunity is one thing, but we've moved away from the reality of groups (a sociological fact), the natural definition of which is that someone isn't in the group, seems that's not to be permitted. We (U.S.) have a saying from Victorian times 'Your (personal) freedom ends where my nose begins''. So, something has to give! The summary in Tickle v Giggle says that indirect discrimination 'is different from the discrimination experienced by women'' without saying how! Normal childhood development is fluid & I am concerned that it is being interfered with by possibly well-meaning people that do not have to live with the results. If there are age requirements for driving a car surely this is more important.
Yes I agree with with a lot of your points. Freedom of association I think is a fundamental right.
Excellent points and quite agree with them all. Thanks for watching Elizabeth 😊
Thank you for this interview.
Very important to understand... Giggle was NOT published when Roxy Tickle FOUND it. It was in Beta testing still "Very Buggy". See Sall Grover interview with Andrew Gold.
Whatever one’s view our basic human rights have to be protected. As a female I don’t want to be ordered by any law as to who I mix with in a club or any other place. God made man and woman and so many like me have every right to continue living in this way. I have no problem with other people’s beliefs but law can’t try and force me to chance mine or my freedom rights.
Great vlog, Shauna! This is why I am a dedicated viewer. Cheers and sip from Canada 🇨🇦
Great program.
I loved today’s interview. Loved Phil’s quote at the end about coming together against the bike riders. I just cracked up 😆 😆😆😂😂
