I am convinced of this position found in scripture but I wonder when the church is raptured, wont the people left on earth not wonder where all those people went? The bible doesnt really speak of the aftermath right?
The Bible says of the aftermath of the rapture is a strong delusion. 2 Thesslonians 2:9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, 10 and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie. Whatever the form this delusion will take is not revealed....but I am sure it will explain away the rapture and calm the fear of the world as the lie.

There is a rapture, a catching away, spoken about in the Word of God, at the end of the millennium reign of Christ, Post Millennium Rapture. (PMR). The scripture verses used for the pre-tribulation rapture are the end of the age or world according to the timeline of the verbiage and language of the Word of God. For example, in 1 Thessalonians 4:14- 5:1-11, God is telling us, “trump of God,” “the voice of the archangel,” “dead in Christ are caught up,” “the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night,” “we are children of the light,” and not of darkness. The following scriptures apply, to the end of the world or age, 1 Cor. 15:50-54; 1 Thess. 4:16-17; Isa. 25:8, and in Revelation 10:6-7; 11:14ff-15, 17; 19:6-9, the seventh angel sounded, which ushers at the end of the world and brings down from God - “new heavens” “new earth” “new Jerusalem” - this is what will happen after the 1000-years, See, 2 Peter 3:6, 7, 10-14. All these scripture chapter books, chapters and verses, are discussing the same event. We must read all verses connected to these statements directed at His followers. The "aftermath" will be the Tribulation and the rise of the antichrist during the Great Tribulation.
